Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review
MXAGhost, Game Informer
2 April 2014
Summary: Let me preface this review by saying I have never played a Metal Gear Solid game. It just never caught my attention. When Konami/Kojima announced that Metal Gear Solid V would be split into 2 games and both would be set in an open world. You have my attention now.
Summary: We all know the big controversy surrounding Ground Zeroes. $30 for a "tech demo" some say, others say it is more of an 'appetizer' before the main course. I'll admit, I am on the former about this game. I personally feel that this game does not grant the 30 dollar price tag.
Summary: A Snake Has the Time of His Life... Well, A Fleeting Time- Before a Near-Death Conclusion. First of all, before I truly start this review in earnest, I want to point out a few things that have been of major concern to several people I've talked with or read reviews from who played Ground Zeroes.
Summary: There’s a fine line between genius and insanity, the clichéd old adage reminds us – and Hideo Kojima straddles that line. I’m not entirely certain which side he’s leaning most towards. His narratives are often a convoluted, jumbled cacophony, backed up by ground-breaking, revolutionary gameplay.
Summary: I rarely write reviews but have witnessed many people complaining about the length vs price. Most of us here who take the time to write a review or read other`s have been informed through the many articles that this is what was promised.
Summary: When I first saw the $30 price point for the retail version of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, which I fled to for pre-ordering, I wasn't sure of what to expect. I managed to ignore any news of the game until its release as well, completely cutting myself off from any details about the game.
"Normally we get the VR Missions after the main game"

Summary: Now we get MGSV Bonus Missions before MGSV even comes out. What is this world coming to- The game looks damn pretty, and while yes, the titular mission is a bit short, the rest of the game is still chunky, and odds are you'll drop at least 20 hours on this to clock it. Probably more.
Summary: While it is true that the ‘main campaign’ is rather short, the gameplay itself is incredibly addictive, challenging, and rewarding. The multitude of side missions and collectible gives the game value enough to justify the price, while the need it creates to play through each mission perfectly,...
Summary: I read other reviews prior to purchasing this game, all said it was good but short and as such over priced. I went a head and purchased it anyway as I am a fan of the MG franchise. It was however true to the reviews – SHORT! It took me around an hour to complete and I am not a hardcore gamer.
