Excerpt: I can distinctly remember, back when DVD finally started to become more than just a fringe format, visiting a friend’s apartment one night and finding myself playing a DVD-based movie trivia board game with a group of about five people. There was an actual board, with pieces, dice, cards, etc. And the DVD was used to play various clips and clues to go along with whatever trivia question you were being asked.
Summary: Don't come to WRC 2 looking for a photo-realistic Rally Sim. I'm afraid you won't find it. What you will find through - once you've waded through the UI - is a good, solid, fun rally-racing game which you'll enjoy playing.
Conclusion: If you, your friends and family love movies and are considering Yoostar 2 as a purchase, then get it because you will have hours of fun. But unless you’re a hardcore movie nut who can watch the same thing over and over, it’s probably more advisable to rent it for those special occasions.
Pros: Good Menu system. Easy for anyone to play. Will scratch an itch for movie fans like no other game can.
Cons: Poor selections of clip(s) from iconic movies. A great idea going to waste with age restriction. DLC will be the cash cow for anyone who buys this game.
Excerpt: When first hearing of this game I thought it was a brilliant idea. A pity the execution was left wanting. Essentially it’s Singstar or Karaoke for the acting set. Choose a scene from a famous movie, step into camera, perform the scene and then watch the playback with you in it. The choice of movies is good with films like The Godfather, Terminator, The Blues Brothers etc, as well as more modern fare such as 300, The Hangover and Kick Ass.
Pros: It’s a good idea, a good range of scenes, probably a lot of fun when drunk.
Cons: The scenes are not quite right, the scene cut-out is patchy, framing right requires too much room, just not that much fun.

Excerpt: The concept is simple: stand in front of the camera, and watch yourself act in a movie clip of your choice. The two big questions though are does it work, and is it actually any fun to play? The answer to the first question is emphatically ‘yes’ – but while most of the technical wizardry is down to the game itself, we must stress that only the Kinect version was tested for this review.
Conclusion: Das Fazit: Ideenreich. Innovativ.
