Summary: Yakuza voice acting, check. Japanese city simulator, check. Crazy fist-fighting...no. Yakuza: Dead Souls has all of the graphic and voice-acting charm of previous Yakuza games, but the controls are downright awful for a shooter. Half the fun of the Yakuza series is the exploration and story and the other half is the fighting. This has exploration, but repeated maps.
Summary: This game is terrible. All you gonna do is shoot tons of mindless zombies. The controls are terrible and unresponsive, the developer couldn't even made the aiming accurate. It's also a very short game, which will take you about 5 hrs to complete it and there is zero replay value. The story? What story? There is no story other than zombies pop outta no where and you gotta fight the sobs. Terrible game and now I would think twice before buying another game from seta.
Summary: Yakuza dead souls arrived in the usual brown envelope but were brand new in the official playstation wrapping. The problems started when I inserted the disc for the first time. It was at first not recognised by my Blu-ray player. I tried reinserting the disk several times but error code 80010514 appeared after a blank screen on every occasion. I returned this copy back to Amazon for a replacement which arrived 2 days later which looked brand new and sealed.
Conclusion: Avoid like the plague! This has to be the worst game ever to come out of japan! The controls are so so awful. You have no or little control, just go to ign and watch the review. Most top game critics have ridculed this pile of doggy do do Luckily i managed to trade two days later with little lose of purchase price.
