Summary: It reminds me a lot of dino crisis 2 you run around and kill things to collect points and once you fnish the set up for the story you can run around and do what you want and go on missions. The controls can and camera can be fussy but it's good enough that you'll adapt to it and enjoy the experience.
Summary: Yakuza voice acting, check. Japanese city simulator, check. Crazy fist-fighting...no. Yakuza: Dead Souls has all of the graphic and voice-acting charm of previous Yakuza games, but the controls are downright awful for a shooter. Half the fun of the Yakuza series is the exploration and story and the other half is the fighting. This has exploration, but repeated maps.
Summary: I usually don't like shooting games but I have always been a fan of the yakuza series and it was very cheap so I had to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the shooting actually felt like it enhanced the game play and it's an all around good game. SEGA HAS SAID that they might bring yakuza 5 over if people bought a number of this and the other latest yakuza game 4 so support them.
Summary: I never played any of the yakuza games, because I'm waiting for them to drop on the price as I finish other games I have. But I bought this because of the price and because I also wanted to play a zombie game, which I also never had. Was pleasently surprised, this game has grat music, graphics are good, and the fun is incredible, each unique weapon for each yakuza makes it even more enjoyable.
Lots of cut scenes, and wish the aiming was better

Summary: I like the concept of this game, and it does have some funny moments, but so far it's been a lot of long cut scenes and character dialog (text boxes) with action here and there. A bigger problem for me is the aiming mechanic - I've killed more walls and lamposts than zombies so far. You might be able to master it after a lot of play, but I think many potential fans might quit early on in frustration. I suggest renting before buying this one.
