Summary: I got bored a lot with this since the cut scenes were so long and the game was kind of boring until the 5th chapter so the I advise the average gamer to spend your money on something else because you will probably get bored as well
it was ok but it could have been improved... sorry...

Summary: the only reason why i chose this rating is because it all had to do the characters, dialoge, and the person were not speaking.. "mouth wise." i really did like this game, really I did because it was like Grand Theft Auto games.... you had the right to free roam and lots of missions..... the reason why i said dialoge was because the character didn't speak, the words just would appear in a box and you had to click next every time...
Summary: I feel like this game wanted to be Shenmue, but it is not. I'm not going to lie, I never finished this game. Running around the streets of Kyoto is boring. The karioke game shows this games true colors which are shades of gray and a vomit green. Combat = bad, graphics = bad, levels = bad, voice acting = bad. However, this game made a great coaster when I was finished. I bought it new so I couldn't get my money back. Don't buy, borrow, or rent Yakuza 3.... it sucks.
Summary: The Graphics for this is good butt the controls suck and the Story line is dead.. i almost fell asleep playing the frist 10 mins of this game.. its so bad i thought the japanese where trying to bore us to death.
Summary: If you're a fighting game fan with an interest in organized crime then you will enjoy this. I am heavily interested in organized crime but not so much fighting games. The combat feels very good and fun. Maybe its because I don't particularly like fighting games, but I thought it got really repetitive towards the end of the game. Normal difficult is easy enough but when it comes to Boss fights, I had to move it down to easy most of the time.
Excerpt: not as expected graphics abit of a let down and chapters too small (gets annoying). got some good gameing like been able to run around freely and go off on side missions and also fishing and other games pool casino games 6.5/10 over all for this game
Excerpt: I got this game hoping for a japanese GTA, but ended up getting Shenmue with a little bit more blood. Relies heavily on beat-em-up style fighting, and has a ridiculous learning curve between one fight and the next. Plenty of mini games and open towns are a plus (you get experience for drinking high-class whisky too!), but all in all this game is linear and simple. Always research games before getting them, I have learned!
Conclusion: 1stly im totaly new to yakuza game never played any other ones, this was brill alot text to read yes alot times need press x on the controler yes but so worth it you need be very patience from the start alot movie sences to, I recomend this to any one whos looking for one player mode has time likes japanese cluture personaly i love it.the story is superb alot conection you feel with the people in the game do not mistake it for GTA in any way this was a master peice of a...
Conclusion: I really wanted to like this game, the locations, characters & a building storyline kept me motivated for a while but the find & fetch quests started to drag, the requests from non player characters to be fed & taken to restaurants started to grate, especially the random requests to be fed again & again, the random fights apearing just when you want to get on with the main.
Excerpt: "The first thing to hit you when you play this game is the graphics. They are some of the worst on the PS3. They are not much better than a PS2 game. Although the world detail is excellent the textures are low resolution and the visuals are full of "jaggies". The gameplay is also outdated and slow going. The gameplay also reminds me of PS2 Japanese role-playing games. The control system is clunky. There are also annoying and frustrating mini-games, ...
Pros: Exciting combat, Tons of gameplay and entertaining story .
Cons: Poor graphics, dated gameplay and frustrating mini - games .
