I've never been moved enough to write a game review in my life, now let that sink in.cn

  • Summary: Ok where do i start, this game is phenomenal it has everything a true gamer could want and I MEAN almost everything. Story: the story is rather lengthy and starts off slow but doesn't take too long to get going, there some scenes that will simply shock and surprise you; the characters are incredibly believable. The little kids are very irritable though except for haruku.

  • Summary: I have never played previous Yakuza games before but now I regret it. I found out about Yakuza 3 when I downloaded it's demo, i forgot why I downloaded it but I'm damn glad I did. The story was immersive, I actually cared about the characters and the struggles they had to go through especially the main character Kiryu Kazuma. Without spoiling anything, Kazuma is a former yakuza member and is the fourth chairman of the tojo clan.

  • Summary: The story and characters are amazing. I've never felt more about a character then I do about Haruka. I always want to protect her. Even though I know she won't get attacked on the streets, I alway stay close to her, I really feel like a father to her. That said, technically this is not a very good game. The gameplay has it's quirks and it's basically still the same game it was on PS2.

Kazuma Kiryu: The Dragon of Dojima returns on PS3.

  • Summary: I enjoyed Yakuza 3 to the fullest. It had a great story line while pulling Kazuma back to the action. Most of the beginning story takes place in Okinawa. It is beautiful and I could watch the ocean waves hit the beach for several minutes at a time. You will go to Kamurocho, Tokyo later in the story if you are wondering. You will be able to travel back and forth but there is a price in Yen.

  • Summary: Beautiful game. Traded my 360 for a PS3 so I can play this series. The game-play is addictive and it has some of the best cut scenes I've seen. Recommend highly!!!!!

Yakuza 3 Review

Falconer084, Game Informer

  • Summary: I was expecting a GTA type kirate action game with Yakuza 3 but its a moving story about a reformed Yakuza, who fights to protect his orphanage from a corrupt government official and a band of evil Yakuza he is aligned with. First off to they who are not studiers of Nippon culture here is some simplified history you will not find in the game: Yakuza comes from three words; ya ku sa. In old Japanese toung these are numbers and is an lod gambling game.

A GOOD game if you liked the previous Yakuza games!

  • Summary: All the aspects of Yakuza are there. -Many sidequests/extra activities to do, great characters, a great story and an awesome combat system. There is some content that is taken out in the North America Release, like hostess clubs, mahjong, and shogi, BUT there is still PLENTY of hours to spend on in this game. It even has some Karaoke thrown in which was pretty fun to play and see Kazuma sing a song!

  • Summary: I am a Japanese fanatic, so when I heard that this game was up there with GTA IV I just had to have it with the extra Japanese flavor. This game was the single best purchase I have ever made. Just following the main storyline got me 12 hours of gameplay, excluding the awe-inspiring cutscenes. It was an amazing experience. Definitely not to be missed!
