Summary: I really underestimated how much fun this game was going to be. I played the original years ago and had fun with it, but this is a step up in every area. 4 difficulty levels allow for easy entry into the game for first time players and a major challenge for experts.
Summary: I only had a little bit of experience with the original XCom PC game from the 90's. I remember not liking it, but I also remember not knowing the intricacies of the game nor the strategic benefits of a turn based system.
Play it for an hour and you won't put it down for the whole rest of the night.

Summary: This is one of the best games I played on PS3 period (and I bought a PS3 at launch!). It's easily my Game of the Year and it's some of the most fun I have had in a while. I would recommend to literally anybody.
Summary: I had read some reviews on XCOM before but was still pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this game. Summary: I got this game for free with my Playstation Plus subscription, and while I had heard a lot of good things, I wasn't sure about playing it because my taste for strategy games is too specific, and most of the time I quickly get bored of the genre.
Summary: A throw back to the days of command and conquer. This game is turn based and a natural fit for anyone who grew up loving games like C & C, Dune, and role playing games like Shadowrun. The game is not easy. One misstep and half your team will most likely not make it home. Once they are dead...
