Summary: Overall I liked this game. There's a wide variety of powers and a few cool extras (mostly outfits.) That being said, I was really disappointed that you can only play as 1 of 3 rookie mutants (Can't play as any of the X-Men or Brotherhood of Mutants), the dialogue is very limited/repetitive & there's no way to skip forward from the dialogue. I enjoyed this game for what it is, but I doubt I'll ever play it again.
Summary: this game is fun to play with a decent story but it is easy too short. I started playing it again just to see the other powers available and to pick all the brotherhood choices. the powers are well done but it really doesn't matter if you choose x men or brotherhood because you pretty much get the same game play with a few different missions. The graphics for this game look like it was made for the PS2 instead of the PS3.
Summary: I think that the only bad thing about this game is that there are other action/rpg games that have show us what a great combat system and graphics the PS# can deliver. I cannot say the game is awful because is not true, neither that I did not enjoy it, because is really cool to play a "nobody" that meets the entire X-Universe!
Summary: As a huge fan of the comics I looked forward to a fun adventure in the x-men universe. I wasn't worried about not being able to play as the most famous characters, and actually liked the idea of living through an original origin story. Silicon Knights dropped the ball with poor production values, shoddy graphics and repetitive gameplay.
Summary: So a couple of months ago I pulled out my Ultimate Alliance again and wondered what the next title would be. I found out about X-men Destiny. I watched the preview and read about it, and then pre-ordered it. While I enjoyed the game overall, it was very repetitive and, even though you can expand your mutant powers, they are still hardly used. I have now played with each character and each power, and found positives and negatives to each power.
