Still waiting for the comeback!

G MAN415, Amazon
8 March 2011
  • Summary: This game is CRAP!! I'm not sure how they could go from a game like Here Comes the Pain to these yearly BS titles. Not much else I can say. You guys can hate on me for all you want. But this isn't a quality title Smackdown game. I got this on my PS3 and those of you who own this title for the PS3 have to admit that even the graphics look as good as a PS2 version of the game. Blahh!! Very frustrating! THQ needs to make some changes!!

Starting to Show its Age Now!

J. Baker "baxter583", Amazon
25 April 2011
  • Summary: This is the first WWE game I played on the PS3, before this I had not played one since Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006. I have to say that the series is beginning to show its age, it's difficult to see how the game has evolved from it's predecessors. Apart from new wrestlers and perhaps the attribute and roster customisation options, which one has to pay for to access them, there is little else in the way of new content.

Long for the days of Smackdown

Sam, amazon.co.uk
20 March 2011
  • Summary: Little bit of background - Watched wrestling a lot between 1999-2003. Have recently got back into it, though still waiting to be impressed with what seems a lack of top talent, showmanship and storyline ideas (The Vikki Guererro one proving my point). The divas may aswell not be there. Most can't wrestle. Matches last 3 minutes. There's no proper tag teams - Remember the Hardy's, Dudley's, Edge and Christian, Too Cool etc?

what a difference a year makes

Charlie Downes "Charlie D", Amazon
10 January 2011
  • Summary: what in gods name have they managed to ruin in a year? The highlight of the last few years had been the road to wrestlemania. it had gone a long way in bringing the scripted and exciting aspects of wrestling to your gaming console. this year it feels like mush. An awkward and often USELESS backstage roaming feature only really managed to add extra travelling time between matches and in most situations brings nothing to your chosen superstars story.
