Summary: Lame gameplay.. more of the same old thing from WWE wrestling games. They move like robots. With all the great video game technology out there and Vince McMahon's billions you'd think they could come up with something a little more realistic. WWE has truely dropped the ball on this one.
Summary: I brought this game for my other half for his birthday to join his ps3 and other games, i tell you what i'm scared about how high our electric bill will be as he's on it a heck of a lot, so i take he likes it lol, it was sent out to me 2 days after buying it, so great service and game all round Thank you!!
Excerpt: The Smackdown Series peaked at Smackdown 2 on the Sony PlayStation 1. Ever since then the annually released Smackdown series has been plummeting title after title. The currently available Smackdown vs Raw 2008 is no exception. The game features a large roster, including classic superstars like Roddy Piper and Mick Foley and impressive selection of match types but it's game play destroys any appeal.
Conclusion: please, just please THQ, go out of business and stop cursing the world with these appaling and offensivley nasty games. also THQ, there are things in games called physics engines, yeah? use them. they kinda make a game fun. Smackdown VS Raw 2008 (and the earlier ones in the series especially) have no physics in the fighting arena and just looks like it was made in a week by a party of intoxicated apes using 20th century graphics and physics technology. Seriously!
