Summary: Bought arcade stick because my old one is not analog compatible. Needed a new stick and this was the one I went with. Not gonna lie. Bought it because it was on sale and didn't wanna pay over $100 for a new stick. And am fine with the "you get what you pay for" term. But so far so good, stick is great. I use it for tekken, so I do alot of button slamming, and so far the joystick holds up to my standards.
Summary: I invested about $60 into this stick by modding it. I used sanwa parts except the dust washer. 30mm silent sanwa buttons. I went to fed ex and printed out the decal. The template for the picture is floating around on the internet and can easily be found. I used this for a couple of weeks unmodded and it was absolute garbage.
Summary: I play this with ultimate marvel vs capcom 3. I replaced the square gate with an octagon gate, then went back to the square. Another reviewer mentioned that the diagonal directions didn't actuate correctly; that was not my experience.
Summary: This was my first stick for fighting games and I came away very pleased. Of course, the original parts aren't what interested me, but rather the really easy modding capability. I swapped out the stick and buttons for some Sanwas and it works without fail. Only took about 30 minutes to swap out the buttons and the stick as well as changing the gate to an Octagonal instead of a square.
Summary: For the low cost, this cannot be beaten. My kids play this game to death. I bought them three or four much more expensive games for xmas and they don't get half the play time this one does. It has lots and lots of modern and old time wrasslers. It has easy to understand and master moves. It offers many different styles of play and rules. Heck you can even download new characters off the internet.
