Summary: But it doesnt change, it ony takes an hour or so to get through it and once you've done it, there is no challenge and nothing new. Good for kids 5-12. Anyone older will do it once, then loose interest.
Summary: Very cool special effects! It was really cool to learn lots of charms, I really felt like a wizard. However, the game concept itself was really lacking. There was a "test" at the end of every chapter (only 5 chapters by the way), but I was really hoping for a final test that would use all the spells you had learned. There was also a riddle at the end of the chapter you had to solve, but the answer is just given to you at the end of the game.
Summary: got this on sale at Best Buy. I feel I got my money's worth because I got it so cheap. Harry Potter fans would probably enjoy this a lot. My family enjoyed it briefly but lost interest. My son is 8 and we are HP fans but not diehard fans.
Pros: it is fun for the first hour or so
Cons: not much re-play ability, no excitement, mostly for kids
Summary: I bought this for my four year old son. He got bored in a fast way. I am not a potter fan, I have never read or watched and potter stuff. I can't complain though because it is pretty cool, and I got if for a great price. I can't say it is bad either, I just don't understand the Harry Potter background story.
Summary: Thought this would be a good present for my 12 year old son as he is a big Potter fan. He used it for a few days but got bored with it. 'Book' opens out and sits in front of you and you use the controller as your wand to make spells. My son is more into platform games so now it just sits in the box, Petrificous Totallis', gathering fairy dust!
Summary: Judging by the publicity which this had, I was waiting for a more enthusiastic game. From the moment the gamer reaches the end, it's enough. There is no desire to doing it again... It has the advantage in terms of price compared to the price in stores in Portugal and it came with Portuguese (european) language.
Summary: I got this for my 8 year old twin boys, who are both big Playstation fans but it has to be said not particularly interested in Harry Potter. The book is nicely presented and in this pack you receive the game, book, one move controller and a camera (required for use with the move controller). Set up is pretty straightforward - familiar to those who has other move games such as Eyepet.
