Summary: Generally speaking, this game is not worth buying, RENT IT. The online multi-player is riddled with crashes, and the online stages are redundant. The Game itself isn't half bad. The story is alright, killing nazis is always fun. The story mode features THE WORST VOICE ACTING EVER. The game developers hired Genuine American voice actors to imitate German accents. The game just doesn't feel right. The graphics look good.
Excerpt: It’s been eight years since the last Wolfenstein videogame and, although the last was a cult classic, many are wondering how Raven Studios’ modern incarnation will stack up. The game is perhaps best summed up by its opening cinemat¬ic, because a lot of the game’s spirit and intentions are installed into it. BJ Blazkowic, the awesomely named star of the game, is foiling Nazis on a boat just off the coast of England, as they try to launch an attack on that country.
Conclusion: A poor man's CoD. Nothing like the old Wolfenstein games. The sci-fi-ness about it is really annoying and the game play is terrible. I can't see what people see in this game. You're far better off getting something like Rogue Warrior for a good shooter.
The daddy of all shooters returns - and he's a bit creepy...

Excerpt: Despite kickstarting the first-person shooter genre in 1992, this next-gen reboot of Wolfenstein 3D has received a surprisingly lukewarm reception from most quarters. While the first game made headlines with its revolutionary 3D blasting, Swatstika-decorated walls, exploding Nazis and, most memorably of all, an actual RoboHitler, Wolfenstein 2009 has been criticised for its lack of innovation and formulaic approach.
Summary: I can only assume people reviewing this game have never played Return To Castle Wolfenstein. A game that has been out for over 7 years & apart from the graphics (which in time, have moved on in every game) is still better by far, than this sequel. The developers of this latest effort have shown little or no loyality to the first game. At least some thought had to be put into Return To Castle Wolfenstein.
Excerpt: Wolfenstein is not a revolutionary ground breaking game but there is still plenty of Nazi fodder to fend off and kill, with incredibly satisfying weapons. You play as allied agen B.J.Blazkowicz,, who is the most terryfying thing to the Germans. In Wolfenstein you uncover a mysterious aftifact usin some thing known as black sun energy.
