Summary: This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. White Knight Chronicles is a fun little title as far as the battle and character building goes. It's fun to create combos, watch them work (or fail), and mess around with your customized character to your hearts content. I wanted really hard to give this game a higher score but there were so many things that lagged down the fun gameplay that just couldn't be saved. I'll save the worst for last.
Summary: the game is great to play, however its freezing up on me. I cant do anything but turn it off and back on which starts you over at the last save. You lose everything after that!!! I have purchased the white knight chronicles 2,which has the first one also. I hope that solves the problem?
Summary: This is a great game in general. I am actually replacing my older copy since the play through is different from the remastered second one. You will find that getting platinum on this or the second is impossible unless you play in Japan. All online servers have been dropped minus there. It is POSSIBLE to get platinum without the online, but it is going to be super hard to do so. Basically there was not enough players to keep it going online (which I find hard to believe).
Summary: i read somewhere that is like playing a ps2 game with cleaner graphics. this is the best description i can give this game. there is nothing new. nothing memorable. nothing unique. it is a waste.
Summary: Okay, I like games like this, but really? why do the enemies have to be so dang hard? I can't be the knight all the time, I run into Giants and big crap and I cant change into the KNIGHT! you know how annoying this game is when you cant defeat something that should be easy! ITS NOT! if you like games like this, buy it, its not my type of game but I still like it..
Charming with detailed environments and a fair amount of imagination in the world but closer to being a satisfactory experience rather than a great JRPG experience.

Summary: I found this game to be charming and fun with an interesting and well presented story and has great gameplay ideas but it certain things stop it from being a truly memorable title.
