Summary: just bought the first and second one at gamestop new today and now found out that i can not play online. this sucks. paid 20 for it expecting to get a lot of excitement and fun and now i cant. dont expect a platinum either on this as 5 of the trophies are online and you will not be able to get them now.
Summary: This game have the misleading title of White Knight Chronicles II but in reality it's a extended full version of WKC. The game overall is very good and even if the story was not that good it felt like a old PS2 RPG with updated graphics and that was a good thing. Now the main focus of this game was the online that have a lot of quests and different type of equipment. Most of these quests relied on teamwork and the knowledge of each class.
Summary: Started off by playing WKC part 1 and I just cannot get into this game. It wants to be a JRPG, and it also wants to be a hack and slash. The result is an awkward combat mechanic that just sucks. I really wanted to like this game but I just found myself cursing at it with frustration. I don't like the graphics, character models, and art direction either.
Summary: I bought because I thought it would be similar to Dark Cloud in the georama sense but it's so overly complicated and the combat is just not fun. Why should I play through a game that has such off putting combat? Even Final Fantasy 8 had bad combat but it was interesting and easy enough to get through plus had a good story. This game is just meh. I admit I haven't beaten it so it's a bit hypocritical to say it's a bad game so maybe I'll pick it up again in the future.
Summary: Game is overly flashy with a subpar story. I usually like the story to keep me going but it didn't happen. The multiplayer lacked much fun as most players have hacked the system or advanced to a level that you can't compete with.
Summary: I spent most of my free time in April and May of 2012 enslaved by Xenoblade for the Nintendo Wii (alas that it was a GameStop exclusive since I hate the establishment with a passion), which if nothing else is the best quest-centric RPG with a disproportionately inconsequential plot that I've ever played.
