Summary: As a fan of the film, I really wanted to love this game. It certainly has some charm, but frustrating control mechanics, an unfriendly camera, and repetitive level design and boss battles really draw away from the experience. There is a lot of collecting and a central hub area (much like in Toy Story 3), but the game doesn't offer much beyond that. I will say that the regular gameplay is thrown a curve here and there with riding the Wild Things and sailing.
Summary: Pros- Spyro like game play Like the movie and book Easy trophies Fun Cons- Constant button mashing and blocking 1 basic attack Too repetitive Kid game? on hard it gave me a constant challenge Your hands will hurt and your head will hurt, but is it worth a rent, yes. 1 play though and its enough for me.
Excerpt: Not a bad game for a kids game.... I never watched the film so cannot comment on how it compares.... The trophies are very easy to obtain and the platinum (100% completion) is easily obtainable within 6-8 hours.... Worth a rental.....
