  • Summary: Bad controls, repetitive gameplay, a wannabe badass main character, strange visuals, (for my opinion) awful music. I seriously had a hard time finding something i like about this game. Would not recommend it!

COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT GAME !!

NASCARFAN, Amazon
14 April 2012
  • Summary: LIKE EVERYONE ELSE I REALLY LOOKED FORWARD TO PLAYING THIS GAME, AS I PLAYED THE GAME I BECAME DISAPPOINTED AND VERY FRUSTRATED LIKE THE MAJORITY WHO HAVE PLAYED "WET". MY PROBLEMS WERE SPENDING SO MUCH TIME NEGOTIATING CERTAIN AREAS OF THIS GAME REPEATEDLY SO I COULD MOVE ON AND COMPLETE THE...

Leave Rubi Alone!

Enlightened, Amazon

  • Summary: WET is an enjoyable third person shooter that gets all of its premises correct but fails in other major areas. I'll start with the things this game gets correct. Rubi is cool; quick-witted, agile, talented and extremely agitated. This frustration leads to ruthlesssness; i.e. everybody dies.

Wet is a very frustrating game filled with flaws

  • Summary: I was so excited for this game and now I feel let down. This game literally had me wanting to throw my controller through my TV half the time. Wet is the story of a problem fixer named ruby voiced nicely by Eliza Dushku.

Gave me a headache

L, Amazon
15 December 2009
  • Summary: I wanted to like this game and I'm usually not swayed by any bad reviews. I like to try it for myself, but I didn't enjoy the gameplay. I found the slow motion moves annoying and you die quite easily after being unsure where to go next and not really able to shoot people right in front of you.

Hard and short

Bright, Amazon
14 December 2009
  • Summary: Since Max Payne, third-person shooters are often injected with a cinematic sense of style. WET, however, is intent on taking the connection between film and game to a new level. The game blatantly rips its influences from 1970s grindhouse films and the visual flair of movie directors like Quentin...

AndrewQ, Metacritic

  • Summary: Everything about this game is cool. It has a cool feel to it, the art style is awesome and screams Quinten Tarantino, the concept of dual targeting is AWESOME, and the demo was a lot of fun. The game, on the other hand, resembles when you bake a cake and take it out of the oven too soon.

Very Frustrating Game

Amazon
22 October 2009
  • Summary: I really wanted to like this game but the more I play it the less I like it. The controls are just sucky. No other way to put it. There are very few checkpoints so if you get anywhere and you die because you missed the leap or hit the wrong button you have to start the whole frustrating chapter...

Great Concept, poor execution

Sorta Old Guy, Amazon
16 October 2009
  • Summary: This game has a great look and the best sound track of any game I've ever purchased. I was roped in by the smooth action of the demo on my PS3. The full game hasn't lived up to that experience.
