Summary: With splitcreen multiplayer & a large community, this game is a must have for any PS3 owner looking for action. **EDIT** It's been a few weeks sense I first played this game & now find it not as enjoyable as the first five days I had it. Here is what I have encountered to change to opinion: Major base raping (enemy will cover every spawn point) Vengeful players (just shooting someone once results in them following you for the rest of the game) Hawk greifing (jets will...
Summary: Bought it strictly for the online play (duh). Game controls weird. Less than stellar graphics. Best played with a headset (which makes you look like a dweeb anyway). Good price though, short install time. Some people might love it.
Summary: I bought this game and didn't even realize it was an online multiplayer game only. I was expecting it to be something like Resistance Fall of Man with some type of offline adventure mode. Once I got past the hour long tutorial, I found myself struggling to remember all the different controls for each vehicle. My character often died before I could get any descent game play in to get comfortable with the controls. The online play feels very chaotic and unorganized.
Summary: This game must have a kind of cult following with all the positive reviews, because I just don't get it. Warhawk is likely the worst PS3 game I've played to date. To start with, there is absolutely no tutorial or any place to practice. You are instantly tossed into chaos before you even know which button shoots. The single solitary reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is flying. The planes are fun to fly around in, that's it, nothing else worth a second look here.
Summary: This game really open a new kind of video game due to the multiplayer mode. The fact that you really know that your enemies or friends are really other people playing around the world makes you feel in any situation. The game has some scenarios but once you know the game; I mean playing the different modes like team deatchmatch or capture the flag it becomes boring because you can go then for medals, medals, and medals and spend days fighting to get a good score...
Summary: The game itself, when it works, is very nice. You can choose to fly a fighter/bomber kinda plane, drive a tank, lay landmines, or shoot with a variety of weapons. The graphics are topnotch, with the explosions being especially noteworthy. What really sets this game back are the bugs, flaws and glitches. Aside from the gameplay issues that need to be sorted out (and there are a lot of them), Incognito has had major problems since launchday with it's servers.
