Summary: Vitua Fighter 5 is famous to be very technical, but I realize unlike my younger days I am now more of an arcade type of person, I (weirdly) have more fun smashing (almost) randomly the button quickly and do powerful bad-ass combo. Anyway, the game is still really good for those who prefer fighting games thinking before punching, there is also a great tournament mode to win items and customize your characters, you also have ranks which make you want to play for a while to...
Summary: I first played vf2 on the PC and after that i had always respected the VF series then a couple weeks ago i bought 4and 5, 4 is tough but it's manageable with practice but Virtua Fighter 5 is ridiculous! you would have to a super computer attached to the back of your head to keep up with the CPU moves, arcade starts out easy but gets harder and harder with each battle you win, and by the time you get to the final stage the average player might have to retry 15-22 times...
Summary: I remeber playing the first one as a kid so i picked this one up. I figured that for only 7 dollars this game would probably be worth the purchase. It wasnt. The characters are interesting but bland. The fighting wasnt that fun. You also have to use the d-pad which i really hated. I bought this 2 days ago and it will probably sit and collect dust.
Summary: When I was checking out Virtua Fighter 5 of how it would offer, it seem nice. But once I got it from a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" Sale and got VF5 for Free. I can say, it was worth it in it's own Time way back, and not the Current Time of now as it is overshadow by other Fighters now. "Arcade" is nice but goes way "Arcade" with Stage A/B instead of Random Fights with Difficult rearranging Easy/Hard and not simply Normal.
Summary: First, let me start off by stating there NO ONLINE for the PS3, thus limiting it replayability. If ur not discourage read on. The fighting engine is one of the deepest I ever had the pleasure of gracing with the exception of Blaze Blue. Graphic are beautiful in HD. However the glaring weakness in the Virtue Fighter series is it inacessiblity to the newb. Online is avaible for 360.
Summary: This game is the latest iteration of an old arcade favorite. The graphics look great. However, the commentary still sounds the same as the original Virtua Fighter game. As for the controls, the reliance on an outmoded three-command system (Punch, Kick, Guard) affect the smooth execution of moves that can be found in the elite games of this genre, such as Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, and Super Street Fighter IV. Even the mere act of jumping is more of a chore than necessary.
Summary: I always was a fan of vf4 evolution. since then I continued play this game. my favorite fighting game was and always will be TEKKEN of course but change the game in some ways will also be cheerful. vf the most thing i like most in it is the customization, background and sound. It lacks mostly in controls and command. I really should be more happy if sega upgrade those. so this game should be best for arcade mode to kick some ass.
