Summary: I've played Venetica for five hours and I just can't take it any longer. The camera in this game is the most atrocious I've ever seen; I've frequently ended up fighting enemies that I can't even see because the camera consistently spins around to place them just off screen. When the camera spins automatically this way, it does it fast enough to give me vertigo. Yet when I try to rotate the camera manually, it's as slow as molasses. I'm no fan of the controls either.
Summary: Have it for the ps3-very glichy game and no support for the ps 3 system. Will not recognize the nox quest finished and help the fellow in the tower quest as well.I have enjoyed it to this point and now it collects dust as I can go no further--very sad.Deck 13 will not respond to my queries or email.Really would have liked to continue so I warn my fellow ps3 owners about this game. You could be very disappointed as I am
Summary: I got this game on a whim because the concept sounded cool. Hey, who wouldn't want to be Death's daughter and kick some undead butt? However, something was lost in translation. The game had SEVERAL glitches and even froze up on me when I was trying to save it. The sound would flake out from time to time, and while the graphics aren't horrible, there were glitches there as well. As for the actual gameplay, well, let's just say it was less than inspiring.
Summary: The graphics on the game are not very good at all. I know that others have said they are decent, but when compared to what is out there and what the system is capable of I find them poor. I agree with the reviewer that said the battle system is seriously flawed. The ability to lock onto/ select an opponent doesn't work well at all if you lock on an enemy and he moves you don't track them at all.
Excerpt: "...admittedly some do that in venetica but some do indeed try to flank you or surround you which adds a depth of strategy to the midst for a change. But and its a big but sadly the graphics could not be overcome by the best game play, best story or best ai because the generation of consoles we are in now we all rightly expect graphics to be high above the level of mid life ps2 games and Venetica falls short of this expectation in a big way. It does have ...
