Summary: I love Platinum games. Virtually all of them. This game.....eeeh... It's not bad. But...it's not great. If you loved Gears of War, then I'm betting you'll like this one a lot as well. Unfortunately, it just sort of feels like a faster paced 3rd person shooter.
Summary: The controls are great, the graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is relentlessly fun. Vanquish is a great game for those looking for an adrenaline rush; a rush it is coming in at just over 5 hours long on Normal difficulty. The story is pretty poor; Russian evil dude wants to destroy USA etc...
Summary: I've not loved this title as much as I thought. I find the story boring and repetitive: a lot of games in the same subject. Maybe the most interesting thing is the ability to dash and activate AR to fight in slow motion. I think you should see gameplays prior to acquiring it.
Summary: I love the idea behind 'Vanquish'--the intense gameplay, the fully immersive experience, and everything else, except I keep thinking this is a game on a supposedly powerful platform, yet it overall feels like it was designed on a poorer machine.
Summary: Vanquish is the very definition of superficial. It is a game that can be played in short bursts with little-to-no commitment. I never once felt invested in the story or the stats. This might sound like a bad thing, but if you're the kind of person who likes multi-tasking then Vanquish can be played...
Despite a generic look and repetitive gameplay there is some fun here

Summary: The Good: The ARS suit adds great tactical gameplay, some unique weapons, battlefield ready upgrades eliminate menus, fun boss fights, ending credits are very unique The Bad: Bland, generic, and stereotypical characters, cheesy voice acting, almost no story to speak of, very repetitive, doesn't use...
Summary: Platinum Games are currently the darlings of the action scene... well they have received universal acclaim for two of their recent offerings Bayonetta and Vanquish. Unfortunately I cannot see why these titles are so highly regarded, but to each their own.
Summary: I heard good things about this game, but wouldn't say I had too high hopes. I was expecting a good game, but what I got was your typical overly buffed characters with zero depth, in the veins of Killzone (probably Gears of War as well). And that hurts the story in a major way.
