Summary: I'll just start out saying that this game is very fun and enjoyable. I really loved the strategy in this game, it's one of the best battle systems I've ever played. Nothing is funner than picking your own squad members and placing them around the battlefield the way that you want. It's not the easiest of games at times but it can be one of the most enjoyable.
Summary: I completed the game a few days ago and instantly felt compelled to play it through again. My gut reaction was to give it a five-star review but I hesitated, read a few of the negative reviews, grudgingly admitted they made a few good points and convinced myself to give it a four. This game certainly deserves the praise it has received. I don't think it can be said enough. The game is absolutely beautiful to look at!
Great concepts, graphics, and story but unpolished.

Summary: Love the game, but some aspects just feel like they could have been done better. Not so much glitchy as unclean. Wish there was a little more variety to the missions, as most are just move as fast as you can to capture a base or kill an enemy. Grades given out after missions are solely based on turns to complete, not kills, death of teammates or efficiency w/ player positioning.Due to the great amount of bonus EXP given out for better grades results in missions being...
Summary: I get so sick of the corny characters and predictable storyline in this game, but the gameplay itself is excellent, and that is what keeps me from throwing it in the trash. If you like action/adventure and strategy games, this might be it for you. Just skip the story scenes. This strategy game is unique to any others in that when a unit is selected among your troops, the camera actually zooms into the battlefield and takes on the perspective of the unit, so you can...

Summary: "Valkyria Chronicles" is a fairly unorthodox game - it's got the art and general handling of "Final Fantasy Tactics" combined with the military tactics of "Full Spectrum Warrior". Possessing the feeling of an RPG despite taking place during WW2 (or a fantasy representation of it, more accurately), Valkyria Chronicles represents an exciting new game that should be liked by both strategy-RPG fans and the more hardcore military crowd.
Summary: Beyond Disgaea 3, there aren't a lot of strategy RPG's for the PS3 out right now. Valkyria Chronicles changes that with something new. Rather than depend on the traditional SRPG scheme of a grid or a free-roaming isometric perspective, Valkyria Profile mixes elements of Final Fantasy 12's real-time battling in the 3rd person with a turn-based mode on top of it. Difficult to describe, but fun to play; the demo on the PSN store does the game justice.
Summary: This is a great tactical RPG/Strategy game with a unique combat system that works really well. The only downside is the scoring system only rewards the player for racing through the content as fast as possible.
Summary: I was looking for good games for my new ps3 and I would definitely recommend this one for any fan of strategy/tactic game. Maybe not the best choice if you are looking for a challenge but it is still hard enough to stay interesting, plus the universe and RPG elements complete well the original gameplay.
