Summary: I'll just start out saying that this game is very fun and enjoyable. I really loved the strategy in this game, it's one of the best battle systems I've ever played. Nothing is funner than picking your own squad members and placing them around the battlefield the way that you want. It's not the easiest of games at times but it can be one of the most enjoyable.
Summary: back in '09, i bought valkyria chronicles and i didn't get a whole lot further on that game because i was all new on strategy games. BUT in 2012 and 2013, i've gotten a lot further on that game, and i beat it. twice. The strategy battlefield was decent, but the story-line was incredible. So, frankly, valkyria chronicles is one of my all-time favorites.
Has a very creative and emotional story with a great mix of turn-based strategy,RTS,RPG elements and lovely water color style visuals.

Summary: Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best RPGs I've played this gen.Valkyria Chronicles combines turn based strategy, real time stategy,3rd person shooter and RPG elements together. Story:- The story in VC is set in a fictional version of Europe in 1935.A tiny nation named Gallia is invaded by the Imperial Army. The story can be quite emotional as you'll see fleeing civilians getting shot and other story elements that are quite emotional/heart breaking. The story has some big...
Summary: I've been playing video games since I was 4. I remember the excitement I felt when I first started; being able to knock out Glass Joe in Mike Tyson's Punch Out, getting through the first levels of Contra and Super C, the first time I ever finally got to Princess Toadstool in Mario..... Over the years, the excitement and wonder tend to fade out.
Summary: If you've ever played Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS, you will definitely enjoy this game. I never even found out about it until recently, but I'm already many hours into it. Everything about it, the story, graphics, soundtrack, characters, and gameplay are amazing. This has become one of my favorite games of all time. You really grow attached to your squadmates and want to keep them alive and hit each objective as you fight for your home country.
Summary: The design and art in this game are beautiful. The gameplay is one of the things that I really like about this game. The battle system combines elements from RPGs, strategy games and third-person shooters. I absolutely recommend to play this game.
Summary: It's been a long time since I enjoyed a game as tactical and challenging as Valkyria Chronicles. I've played everything from X-Com to Jagged Alliance 2, and I'd call VC a truly worthy successor to the turn-based genre.
Summary: Since everyone is pointing out good part, let me point out some bad parts. It has to be strategy game, meaning that you have to think hard how to best enemies, but to be honest, it was too easy. Sometimes you just need few scouts to best a horde of enemies. Ok, what's the meaning of assault infantries and engineers and even tanks' exitance? And sometimes it made me sick watching cheepie heroism and cheesy romance. Come on!
Summary: The graphic is OKAMI alike. Great details and I loved the animated windmill display on the map. The gameplay is fresh, different strategies approach allow player to gain higher rank. The Book Mode allow player to save their game before they went into battle and Command Mode allow player to save during battle. Hey, with those ladies in your team, what could you ask more?
