Summary: I love Videogames. and for that reason, you should buy this game, because you love videogames. It definitely is old school, but there is a strong quest story backdrop, the music is awesome, and you can play it locally,,especially since you cannot play the online element anymore. I Liken this to any Top down dungeon game, from baldurs gate to champions of norrath.
Summary: Okay, for any one who hasnt played a game in the Untold Legends series, allow me to make it easy. The games are along the lines of PS2 Baulders Gate, and Diablo 1 and 2. You garden veriety over head hack n slash game play. There is of course a few of us out there who like this style of game play. If I want an epic, thought provoking story line, BioWare has a billion games to choose from.
Summary: This game is a good old fashioned dungeon hack. It's nice that you can drop in/out of co-op play. The game is reminiscent of the Baldur's Gate series for PS2. There are only three characters and each character has a pre-determined weapon of choice - if you're going to play as the Barbarian, you get an axe. Period. Game play can get a little repetitive at times, but overall the game is pretty well done.
Summary: Yes this game is not groundbreaking, yes the graphics are very good but not great, yes you have seen the game in different incarnations, yes the dialogue gets a bit cheesy/campy, but it is STILL a fun hack and slash that is great to keep on hand for those times you just want to play a little something but don't want to get involved or you need a break in between two long RPGs and don't want to swamp the brain.
Summary: I got this for christmas I didn't expect much it is three years old.It came out when the playstation 3 came out.So I tried it and to my surprise it was better than I thought.I like playing with my brother so if you have any friends over this could be fun to play.I never did beat it yet so I can't tell you how many hours of gameplay there is.The controlls are pretty standard it is easy to get used to.Sometimes I get lost and that is really frustrating. But other than that...
Summary: Co-op mode RPG games in 3d person view aren't all that easy to find, and my wife and I have played most of them scores of times over. Dark Kingdom co-op mode thankfully isn't some nauseating split screen FPS. It is a straight forward linear hack and slash grab stuff get more powerful grab more stuff & etc, and a pretty good example of the genre, well worth the discounted price.
Summary: This game did not get very good reviews from the big review sites. It isn't a ground breaking title, but it is good hack and slash fun. It is a fantasy dungeon crawler and is fairly similar in gameplay to Marvel Ultimate Alliance. The 3rd person dungeon crawler genre has been overlooked in the current generation of consoles, so there aren't many, but this one is fun either solo or multiplayer ( I have not done the internet multiplayer yet ).
Summary: If you're looking for the classic multiplayer 'Guantlet' style of gaming, this game delivers. Graphics and sound aren't bad, there are some scenes and scenarios with such intensity that it can be impressive. I immediately found myself thinking "Wow, this couldn't have been done like this on the PS2" many times when first playing (this was one of the first games I'd played on the PS3.
Summary: This game is pretty decent, if you don't mind the old school graphics. The storyline in itself is interesting and you have to figure out things on your own in the game as well as fight while doing so. However, if you're looking for top notch graphics you're not going to get them in this game. But, if you're like me and grew up playing atari, then you won't mind the graphics. The storyline is kind of slow, but it's still interesting.
