Conclusion: Anyone familiar with the Unreal Tournament series will find very few surprises within this game. At its core, it is a multiplayer, online based, fragfest ! There is no real single player game to speak of, its just deathmatch with bots ! The speed of the game may catch out new first-person-shooter players. It is adjustable, but any success (especially online) requires hair trigger reaction speed.
Summary: ive played it before and it's ok but nothing very special the aiming isn't great and as you try and turn arround it's very hard cos it accelarates but other than that it's ok but i would rather get homefront or black ops
Summary: The graphics on this game are very good, the idea is simple there's a map and lots of people on it that you have to kill. It's very fast paced online and great fun but the storyline/campaign mode sucks because the AI, although good, doesn't compare with fragging some friends online. I'd say this is probably only going to be enjoyed by people that liked the original and games like quake 3 and team arena. Personally I love it!
Summary: I recently purchased this game for PS3 and it seriously has failed to impress me, although it's the first Unreal Tournament game I have ever played although I am a big fan of FPS games such as "Ghost Recon", Battlefield 2 and 2142 (on PC), and call of duties but in comparison this game lacks so much, in warfare mode where you get to use vehicles the control of vehicles in such a let down, from hover boards to tanks, they are all so sluggish to handle there hardly worth...
Summary: I bought this game on Friday 22nd, Ive played it online and single player and can honestly say that the graphics arent as good as some of the other PS3 titles. Its also so fast at points that you dont get the time to appreciate the graphics. Its not that that radically different than other FPS's (you get different weapons and shoot things at the end of the day). Still, its pretty good fun and worth a purchase if you like this type of thing, I advise hiring it first.
