Excerpt: Since we briefly played Uncharted 2 at Gamescom in Cologne recently and were part of the multiplayer Beta, we expected it to be pretty good, but shittin’ crikey, not this good. Sony has searched long and hard for their killer-app - a sole reason to part with your cash - but have come up short.
Pros: Voice acting and scripting are of an award winning standard, The action just keeps on coming, Attention to detail
Cons: Some jump and grab sections can be a bit tricky, There are enemy types that are a pain in the ass, It has to end :(
Conclusion: This is a perfect example of an excellent game with a few nagging faults. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is incredible, perhaps the best cinematic experience we’ve seen. It’s a must have for all PS3 owners, even if it's just for the single player.
Summary: When the Playstation 3 first came out, it suffered from the same issue that most new consoles face: A lack of quality launch titles. Even worse, the system exclusives were weak. God of War II had recently come out…for the PS2.
Excerpt: I enjoyed Uncharted ever since I played the first one. Honestly, I was scared of playing this because I feared how long the chapters were....and of course, it was long...longer than the first.The humors and storyline is amazing, and why I like it the most.
Excerpt: Don't get me wrong: I really enjoyed the original Uncharted, but the combination of cover-based third-person shooting and Tomb Raider-esque exploring didn't quite gel together as well as I'd hoped it would.
Conclusion: Uncharted 2 features returning character Nathan Drake, who ends his brief vacation when prospected by two acquainting thieves to help decode the clues left by Marco Polo that opens the way to Shambala, a mythical city said to house a magical stone that will bestow power and immortality to whoever...
