Summary: If you are looking for a completely new game in the Twisted Metal series you won't find it here. A lot of the game feels like an HD version or better looking version of prior Twisted Metal games but I love Twisted Metal so I highly recommend it if you played previous games in the series and are a true fan of the genre then it is a must own.
Different twist but as great as the previous Twisted Metal games have been!

Summary: I really enjoy playing this game, especially with my best friends. I mainly brought Twisted Metal because I grew up playing Twisted Metal games since the first game come out in the Playstation 1. This Twisted Metal title is as challenging as Twisted Metal Black and even though its not as dark as Twisted Metal Black, it gives a satisfying experience bringing back the vehicular combat that has made Twisted Metal games fun as I can remember as the previous games were.
Summary: Story mode is good. Lots of trophies to get. Not enough people online playing game to make online fun. Fun game but wasn't all that impressed. Don't buy new buy used. I wouldn't pay over 20 bucks!
Summary: Other than not having the code for Twisted Metal Black (which I suspected it wouldn't anyway), the purchase was a deal. The disc was in good shape. The manual I found on-line, so it wasn't even an issue on that front.
Summary: I bought this game because I've always been a fan of the series. The game had a little bit of problems at first, but after I deleted and reinstalled the patches, it worked fine. The campaign isn't like previous Twisted Metal games. There are only 3 characters and you play each of their campaigns in a certain order. It goes Sweet Tooth, Mr. Grimm, then Doll Face. Each character goes through levels with certain twists like electric cages and juggernauts.
Summary: If you have played previous version of this game, for sure you will like this ps3 version! Its very cool to play coop with your friends! Nice story too! Online gameplay is for me (Brazilian) slow, maybe because servers are in USA.
Summary: If you enjoyed the old Twisted Metals from older consoles, I believe you will enjoy this one as I have. It adds racing and a couple other new modes to diversify it up, but I felt it didn't change the overall feel of the game. This may be a deal breaker for many, but I purchased this game from an auction and in doing so the online code was already used (no surprise). You will have to pay $9.99 for an online pass if you want to pay online.
Summary: I have been with the franchise since my cousin had the first few on the Playstation. I've kept up with the games except for small brawl, if anyone remembers that. It was a real fun experience for me and I understand everyone is pissed that online is in updates right now, but for the most part I love it. its a big thing though if you're new to the franchise then you might or might not enjoy the game, it's a gamble.
