Summary: I have been a massive Turok fan ever since the first game came out on the N64 back in 1997. The first 2 games are in my top 5 list of the greatest First Person Shooters ever. And as the 3 star rating suggests this is a good game but as a Turok game it fails and fails miserably. Yes this game has raptors and a T-Rex, but that's really all the dinos this game has to offer. Where are the Pur-linn and Leapers? It is ESSENTIAL for a Turok game to have these enemies!
Summary: this game isnt worth owning. i recommend renting it. the replay value of this game stinks i think. you know where the dangers are after the first time so the challenge is gone. the aiming mechanic also sucks.
Summary: Let me start by saying that this is the most satisfying Turok game I've ever played. It's also a solid first person shooter. The problems I generally have with FPS games are here. Certain control functions don't always work properly and it's sometimes hard to know what's attacking you and from where. I liked the way the gameplay is a constant mix of dinosaurs and gun-toting hybrids. And I would certainly play through it again. So, it doesn't add up to a perfect game.
Summary: Quick, name two of the coolest things you can think of off the top of your head. If you said Dinosaurs and giant, overpowered guns then congratulations, you still have the heart of a child. And what's even better? If you said, "Going after dinosaurs with high powered guns," then you will forever be a child at heart. And it sounds like an impossible-to-fail premise for a video game.
Summary: I haven't played this yet, but if it is like Dino Crisis, count me in. How can you go wrong with shootin' dinosaurs. They look mean, they are huge, intimidating, they have big teeth, and they are going to be extinct anyway, so blast away without guilt. I will update this once I get around to playing it. I loved the three previous Dinos, first two on PS1, and the latter on Xbox, and could not resist this game. More to come......
Summary: The only fun part of this game is dinasour-killing part and there comes a time when you don't even want to see it again because when you kill a dinasour you get on third person, then a cinema shows up and you have to see the dinasour as it falls on the floor not matter how many dinasours or enemies are around you. That is just most dumb action I've seen. As a shooter it's just disappointing!!! No big fun at all. It's something different but it's not to buy it.
Summary: Not the best game to play but for 10.00 at Amazon was worth trying. It is a frustrating game at times, he can not run any faster and has some issues that are such I would not play it more than I have which is twice.
Summary: this game could have been one of the best games you can have on the PS3 but it fell short due to its gimmick controls and its unbalanced gameplay. for one you are playing against bunch of dinosaurs that requires some agility and then you are playing against soldiers in bushes that also requires agility. How come? where is the diversity?
