Summary: this game isnt worth owning. i recommend renting it. the replay value of this game stinks i think. you know where the dangers are after the first time so the challenge is gone. the aiming mechanic also sucks.
Summary: Let me start by saying that this is the most satisfying Turok game I've ever played. It's also a solid first person shooter. The problems I generally have with FPS games are here. Certain control functions don't always work properly and it's sometimes hard to know what's attacking you and from where. I liked the way the gameplay is a constant mix of dinosaurs and gun-toting hybrids. And I would certainly play through it again. So, it doesn't add up to a perfect game.
Summary: Quick, name two of the coolest things you can think of off the top of your head. If you said Dinosaurs and giant, overpowered guns then congratulations, you still have the heart of a child. And what's even better? If you said, "Going after dinosaurs with high powered guns," then you will forever be a child at heart. And it sounds like an impossible-to-fail premise for a video game.
Summary: Not the best game to play but for 10.00 at Amazon was worth trying. It is a frustrating game at times, he can not run any faster and has some issues that are such I would not play it more than I have which is twice.
TUROK: Klingon for "Shut off that damn backgrnd music!"

Summary: Turok PS3 is pretty much the same as the XBOX 360 and PC versions,.. well 'ugly much' the same. While it retains the basic storyline, it is inferior in graphic detail and textures and has a jerky slowdown in framerate at several points in the game where the visual and technical action get intense.
Summary: I enjoyed the first Turok games for N64, and the last one for the PS2 wasn't too bad either. I feel like for PS3 and its amazing graphics, this might be a home run. It is more like a ground rule double. I bought this game about 2 months ago, played it the first night I had it with a bit of disappointment. The dialogue, story line is lame for the most part.
