Summary: Don't get me wrong going around killing dinosaurs and stealth fully killing your enemies is great and all but when it come down to storyline i find it to be lacking.Game play is alright and it can get frustrating at times also the fact that if you save from the pause menu and die you don't load from that save point oh no you load up from the beginning very frustrating.
Summary: This game was boring, not well made, and just all around had horrible gameplay. I honestly just want to give it away because now I regret buying it. There was one part at the end where guys just kept coming and I'm pretty sure that was a glitch. I would never recommend this game.
Summary: Turok has always been a series I found an absolute horror to play. None of the games were ever any good, and with this new next gen iteration I expected little to change... and hey, look at that... I was spot on. Playing as Turok, you traverse a dino infested planet with your group of unbearably cliched space marine muscle man buddies as you look for a way to escape, and in doing so, you'll find yourself often reaching for the power button as you attempt to escape this...
Summary: Turok sucks! Period. The save points are horrendous. The graphics are not up to par for next gen. The enemies are faster than oyu and never miss when they shoot at you. When you get hit, the screen goes blurry and by the time you get your bearings, you're dead. The weapons are outright lame. It takes so many shots to take down enemy soldiers. If you like FPSers like COD4, Resistance, and Bad Company, you will hate this game.
Summary: Turok for N64 was much better. Graphics and play ability are not ps3 quality. Didn't want to kill dinosaurs. Wanted to kill mutant dinosaurs. They only thing this had above N64 version was dual analog. It was to dark most of the game and glitchy. I didn't like the button sequencing either. If I wanted to do that I'd got third person game instead of first person shooter.
Summary: All I can say is this game sux.It is nothing like Turok of past days.I have played all the Turok games before this one.Was so looking forward to this version.Even finally bought PS3 to play it.Wow what a let down.Sold it after three days, that bad. With the add of a side kick for Turok is what really killed it.Turok always fights alone. And that is what I always loved about he games before, among other things.
Summary: Okay so let me start out by saying this, I am SOOOO glad I only rented this game before I bought it. Its terrible. The Turok for the N64 was a fun game and don't get me wrong there are some fun points to this game (the bow and arrow was and is still awesome) but other than that this game is repetitive and boring.
Summary: It's a boondoggle, a rip-off of the Turok franchise. There's nothing here, story, controls, weapons, play, that continues the Turok tradition. Glitches, no customizing, it's a weak programming effort. Basically, this product is a scam on the customers who liked the former games. Many better FPS games than this: Resistance, Call of Duty, etc.
Summary: Turok is a very poor made game. The game sounds and cut scenes are some of the most weakest of the game. The sound effects are poor. The gun sounds are nearly non existant and with the Silencer equiped, the gun sounds, sound nearly the same without a silencer. The main Character is ugly and boring! Story is aboslute a pile of crap and forgetable. The graphics are ok, but textures lack detail.
Summary: This is a real shocker! Dated it may be, but I can't imagine this was a lot better when it first came out. Frustrating, difficult (even on normal but without being challenging), restrictive, dull graphics, repetitive gameplay, dull dull weapons and short (the life of the game only being extended by the fact that you keep getting thrown back to the start of long sections!). And that's just the good points. Avoid.
