Summary: I simply cannot believe this game is from CodeMasters, and that it is a PS3 title. CodeMasters is known for taking great care to craft quality titles and I can't imagine what happened with this one, it's a riddle. And the PS3 has so much power and potential, there really is no excuse for such a terrible waste of time and money. This game is simply awful. The graphics are PS2 quality at best...
Summary: This game had a promising premise with a reinvention of the events of World War 2. Unfortunatly the game itself could not match it's premise. The game is falty in many many ways. The gameplay is hindered by tons of glitches. Just walking in this game is difficult. The game loads slowly and you are constantly being straifed by the game itself as it loads the environment.
Summary: I definatly would not pay over ten bucks for this game. They could have done a much better job, They should have spent a put a lot more time making this game especially if your working with the ps3.
Summary: Not a Very Good Game, Kind of Boring! For some People the Game would have been fun but not for me! Call of Duty is so much better! Great Seller who is highly recommended but not the Game! Maybe it will work for someone else!
Summary: it was pretty fun most of the time, it did however lack in a few spots, like: way too short of a game (imean if I'm gonna spend $60.00 it should be long) doesn't look at great, lack of weapons, I think maybe like 10 guns..
Summary: I bought this game because the plotline had so much potential. An alternate reality that involves fighting a Nazi invasion in New York City sounded awesome! However, Turning Point was a huge disappointment. The missions are all very linear, so you cannot choose an order in which to do things. Carson goes from point A to point B, bang bang. Now he goes from point B to point C with a different gun, bang bang. It is very robotic and pre-planned.
Summary: This game was a complete letdown. I agree with the other reviewers that the story line was a good idea, but in the end it was presented horribly. I played through the first level and put the game back in its case due to dissapointment in graphics, motion and shooting. The game comes no where near close to pushing the envelope of the PS3. I regret spending the $60US to buy it.
Summary: I rented this game from Blockbuster, because I thought the premise of the game sounded fantastic, but the preview video looked a little rough. Well the game turned out to be a little rough as well. PS2 style graphics, the bad guys will just charge you while you shoot them down. the list goes on and on... I played it for two days and took it back early. I am giving this 2 stars overall only because the "what if" history story is cool.
Summary: Upon starting Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, you can see right off the bat that this game is lacking in several categories. The graphics are flat out terrible. I feel like I'm playing a PS2 game at some points, though the background during game play are not all bad. As far as scenery goes, there were some moments that were cool (i.e. Zeppelin docked to the Tower Bridge in London) but everything else was fairly normal.
