Summary: We got this for my 5 year old son because for some reason he fell into a TRON phase. That packaging is nice and reflective. The Light Cycle actually lights up, but it took us a few days to find the switch (its on up behind the seat). The case the light cycle sits in is durable and has a handy drawer to hold the game. My son really likes the way the light cycle lights up in his room in the dark. The light is even through out the cycle and a perfect color of blue.
Summary: The graphics are off the hook and wonderfully rendered in 3D but game play is predictable and ultimately gets boring. On a side note, if you have any form of motion sickness better to simply avoid this game as the camera angles can get a little crazy on you :]
Summary: the game itself is not to bad to play , like most games are at first , after a bit of time it became easier but i felt it lacked that ' play me now ' factor . i soon put it away to collect dust. as for the collectors edition , it is a must have , even though the model is poor quality but it looks kinda ok , i wouldn't pay a huge amount for it , if you like futuristic ( might be wrong spelling ) looking models it would suit that type of collection , but don't expect a...
Summary: As a HUGE fan of Tron: Legacy and an avid role playing gamer, I was very excited to get Evolution to discover the deeper back story of the movie through playing the game. Simply put, I was very disappointed in both aspects - the story and the gaming experience. It could have been so much more. The first and perhaps most obvious shortcoming was the lack of the Daft Punk soundtrack.
Summary: I am a big Tron fan so I was hoping for a game that would do the story justice. Like so many games modeled after movies, it falls short. I wish the it was done in first person instead of third. Because of the body mechanics and physics, its really jumpy and combat doesn't flow very well. Having the 3D option is nice but altogether its an okay game.
Summary: I like this game more than I don't like it. So here's my quick review: Pros: - Tron world is beautifully rendered. - Disk battles are pretty cool. - After a few hours into the game it does feel kind of cool/fun disk battling. - Fills in the story about Clu so ties in neatly with the movie. Cons: - After a few more hours however it begins to really get repetitive and you're about ready for the ending.
Summary: Was glad that my purchase came a few days before schedule, the game was good online features are best, I became a huge tron fan after the movie so decided to purchase the game. If you're a fan of tron would recommend; if looking for a game with long lasting appeal would not recommend.
Summary: This was an enjoyable game, It was a good filler for the story in between the original movie and the new movie. It had some fun platforming and did pretty well for a movie license game. Some of the jumping can be a little frustrating at first but the action pacing and the changes from running around to driving the bikes made for a good varied game play. I enjoyed the visuals most of the time (Corra looks rather low resolution, but the rest of the game is pretty good).
Summary: I am a big TRON fan though this game was a big let down. The graphics were great and the gameplay was good too. The easy setting was VERY easy; completed in a few hours. Subsequent play on a harder setting only meant enemies had more health. Still took a a little longer to complete. Light cycle play was limited to 3 or 4 times. The storyline is linear and it's not hard to figure out where to go next. Pros: Graphics, storyline, gameplay, voice-actors from the movie.
