Summary: First impression, this game is jaw-dropping beautiful, especially for an indie game. It's a side-scrolling platform puzzle game. The story was alright, and the puzzles were alright, some were generic and boring but overall it's a good game.. I felt the added combat added some action to the game (which was good), although did felt like a filler with not much depth.. The three character combo to solve puzzles was the best part of the game, unique, fun, and challenging.
Summary: There's wasn't much wrong with the first game, nevertheless this one is a small improvement on every acount. It does play the same though, so if you didn't like the first one, you won't like this one.
Summary: One of those little gems that you will love. I got it on Steam summer sale for really cheap together with Trine 2 and so far (more than halfway through) its a fantastic game with amazing visuals and good game mechanics,
Summary: Absolutely beautiful game with lush, colourful graphics. I love the puzzle aspect of this (and the original) though I found this one to be a lot more frustrating at times. Though overall I like the challenge. Same concept as the first Trine, but they added a lot of new elements to make it seem completely revamped. Well worth the price, and I look forward to part three!
Summary: Trine 2 is a beautiful game. With great character models, environments, and music; it is a real pleasure to the senses. Watch a high quality youtube video of it and you'll see for yourself how well the vibrant painting-like art style brings the game to life. There is also a good dose of humor spread throughout the game. Trine 2 is a puzzle platformer with light RPG elements (you level up and choose what moves you want to unlock from a somewhat limited skill tree).
Summary: The graphics are really great with very beautiful colors and effects. Story is mediocre but that doesnt affect the game overall. The puzzles are very clever and can be solved with every character you got, either thief, wizard and knigth. A bit small on gameplay length, featuring 15 levels and a secret one after you finish the game. The intro before every level is very good and the narrator puts you in the story pretty well.
Summary: A bedtime story game that makes you relax. After an annoying day at work this is the game you want to be playing, its simple fairytale-like story and tear-bursting visuals makes this game an absolute must for all ages. And they lived happily ever after!
Summary: The game has a beautiful sense of story telling and dialog. The graphics are very artistic and seem to flow well between characters, monsters, environment, and animations. The only place I found lacking was the gameplay itself. Don't get me wrong the puzzles and how to solve them are fun but the controls and how you interact with the world can be rather sluggish. This could be the console controls however the PC controls don't seem any more enticing.
