Okay game, but disappointing.

Summary: The storyline is kind of cool. The graphics aren't terrible either. However, the gameplay is terrible. It makes me want to throw my controller at the TV because the gameplay is so bad. Honestly, if you like Transformers, get Transformers: The Game (the first game in the trilogy). The storyline is better, the graphics are just as good, and the gameplay is MUCH more fun.
Summary: I must say I was excited to hear about a Transformers 2 game. If you love Transformers, this game is great because it puts you right into the robot-clashing action. The game is seriously action packed, with timed missions and dangerous enemies. Pros: Good graphics, transformers appearance is accurate; lots of action. Cons: Human characters are underdone, missions are similar, A.I. repeat things ALOT.
Summary: My son loves both Transformers movies so when we bought him a new PS3 for Xmas this was one of the games we bought to go with it. However this game gets little use compared to the EA Sports games we also bought for Xmas morning.
Summary: The last Transformers movie tie-in game was a pretty run of the mill experience that you would come to expect from a game of the type. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a little bit better in those regards, albeit not by much. Much like the last time around, you can choose to be either on the Autobots or Decepticons side, and familiar faces like Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Starscream are abound as well.
Summary: Picked this up for my son, and was very impressed with it. Good action, great graphics, a blast to play overall. My itches with it were relatively minor, but they did hinder my enjoyment. 1) Lack of quality voice acting from the movie, or the series. Even though it's the same actors from the movie, the voices just don't sound right. It serves to pull you out a bit when the voices are so different, but that could just be a diehard fan like me.
Summary: personally I did not like this game. Everything is timed, so you can't really explore anything. It's fun the first time around but once you beat it the only thing left to do is to play online or try to get trophies(for ps3 or x-box 360). the sound started to quiet down during random parts of the game. there is not much of a plot to follow except destroy this and save that. the missions seem to repeat, the only is that they are in different places.
Summary: Transformers 2 isn't great, but it isn't bad either. The environments aren't always good, Cairo is especially bland, but the characters are always great. The overall graphics are brilliant. The gameplay is good, and fairly exiting but the levels often repeat themselves though the bosses are great though. Worth at least a rent.
Conclusion: It's not game of the year, but If you're a fan of transformers or just mech games in general, this might be the game for you. The graphics are really good for a game based on a movie. Plenty of things to do, characters to choose from, missions, upgrades etc.. I have to say this game really surprised me, I wasn't expecting it to actually be a decent game, because fan or no fan, it's not a bad game, but it gets even better if you like giant robots.
Summary: I bought this game in a sale, and i am quite glad I didnt spend huge amounts of money on it. Although it is a fun game to play it leaves alot to be desired at the same time, combat rarely melee, I expect to be able to stand toe-to-toe with at least some of my enemies, even the bosses run around and the ones who dont can kill you in the blink of an eye. Disappointing last mission. Bumblebee talks in the cut scenes without the use of his radio?
