Summary: This game takes place right before the events of the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and in fact it is a great lead up to the movie. You play though various stages as Bumblebee, Ironhide, Mirage, Optimus Prime, Soundwave with pets, Starscream and Megatron. The story of the game is quite interesting and the characters interacting with one another is a joy for Transformers fans with their bickering, arguing and general comments.
Summary: I thought that this game would be more fun than it was. I've played through the other 2 Transformers movie games and they were much more enjoyable to play than this one. I found the controls odd and irritating. The movement when in car/truck mode was a hassle and the weapons controls were also annoying both in robot & car/truck mode. Overall this game was not very fun for me. Of course this is just my opinion based on my own gaming preferences.
Summary: High Moon did a great job with Transformers WFC.I still play it to this day. I had high hopes for Transformers DOTM.The game felt rushed. The animations seem choppy and glitchy. They walk around like they're floating sometimes. A lot of elements are the same but simplified not in a good way. For instance special abilities are only for specific characters. the drain ability is only specific to Megatron. The environments are nothing new, just frustrating at times.
Summary: I purchased this game with high expectations, high hopes, as I loved the film so much. I have just recently finished the game, which firstly is extremely short lived, the controls do take some getting used too, they're a bit awkward. The graphics and visuals are great, I must say, but the voice of Megatron was slightly off. Peter Cullen was incredible yet again, voicing Optimus Prime.
Summary: Great gameplay, however there are not many chapters (missions), unfortunately there is only 7. Although the online multiplayer is fun and exciting I rarely find a connection to anyone, perhaps because of my link to the connection or because there are not many people playing the game. This is definitely a no-no to gamers that do not enjoy short games.
Summary: Great game, a good upgrade from "Revenge of the fallen" (5/10). This game is a prequel to the movie and focus more on the characters that are not main in the movie like Soundwave, Ironhide, Lazerbeak and others. The new features like the vehicle attack mode are very cool and the movement are not as "clumsy" like ROTF. The only problem is that the game is VERY short, they could have so much more too this and it would make it a very memorable game.
Summary: How can a game be bad and good at the same time? Well that's what this game is! The game is pretty much a prequel to the Transformers 3 movie that came out and don't know why they did that but...anyway. I had a mixed feeling like I was playing Transformers War for Cybetron and Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The trophies for the playstation 3 are VERY easy, the chapters are short and the story for each side is basically 4 hours.
