Excerpt: You can jump into an exhibition match right from the word go and play with a pretty impressive roster of real-life talent, both past and present. The top four on the men's side are present: Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray, along with other notable players. Serena Williams, Dinara Safina, and Anna Ivanovic highlight the women. I love that classic stars are present like Sampras, Agassi, Lendl, and my personal favorite, Boris Becker.
Excerpt: In it's finest form, tennis can be more a chess match than a slugfest. When two equally impressive athletes compete in a duel of wills to see who can outwit whom, it becomes a "thinking man's" game with strategy trumping strength. It's been two years since we last stepped onto center court, and 2K Sports has spent a lot of that time revamping their previous installment.
Summary: Top Spin 4 brings the competitive action of tennis to life like never before with redesigned controls, jaw-dropping player models and Signature Style animations, enhanced TV-style presentation elements, and one of the deepest player rosters to date featuring tennis’ top athletes and legendary pros.

Top Spin 4 Perfects The Fundamentals And Delivers A Compelling Career Mode
15 March 2011
Conclusion: Concept: Simplify Top Spin 3’s convoluted controls while adding depth to career mode and online
Graphics: The pros look lifelike, and the animations are very fluid. The arenas and crowds are much more detailed, which is highlighted by the new TV-style presentation
Sound: The crowd noise ebbs and flows with the match. Still lacking commentary, and I hope you like the song “North American Scum” by LCD Soundsystem.
Excerpt: 2K's definitive tennis series returns to centre court on the PlayStation 3, Wii and XBox 360 which adds a few new twists to the gameplay. For me, the Top Spin series reminds me of EA Sport's FIFA series because just about all releases are quite competent and generally better the previous instalments which is true of Top Spin 4.
