Summary: this game is pretty killer. i think most peoples problems with it is that they dont know how to really calibrate the deck. close your window shades and use an overhead lightsource to calibrate the deck and use the same lighting everytime you play. if you change the batteries you have to do the calibration again. the skating is cool once you unlock the other ways to control the decks movement.
Summary: I picked up this game for Wii, and never could get the board calibrated - even after hours of troubleshooting. The store wouldn't let me return it without a receipt, so I swapped it for the PS3 version. With the PS3, calibration was a snap and we were up and running in a few minutes. This game is especially great for kids, and adults will have a blast with it as well.
Summary: This game worked completely as advertised. The calibration for us took less than 5 minutes. My son has enjoyed playing it without any issues that other owners have had. I wish I would have bought more when they were 9.99 I would have made a great gift for his friends. He obviously prefers skating in the real world, but is enjoying the game play none the less.
Summary: This game was easy to setup. My three kids love it. Even my 5 year old plays and he is getting to be real good. I cannot believe the game was not more expensive especially with the included board
Summary: I just got this and was a little wary based on all the reviews of people who had trouble calibrating. I'm glad to say that I had no trouble at all. I can tell I will have some issues with getting my hand down near the sensors while on the board but I am very tall so I expected that. Not sure why others are having so much trouble but I would recommend this based on my experience. Especially if it goes on lightning deal for 10 bucks again.
Summary: i was a little put off about most of the reviews on here were complaining about the calibration of the game. after tony hawks ' something went wrong ' annoyed me for the 324829 time i ended up searching on youtube for ways for it to calibirate, putting it upside down, turning it on its side, turning the lights off and changing the angles of the ps3. in the end i ended up putting the ps3 on the floor so it was level with the sensor which worked in 1 try.
