Summary: 1stly it felt kinda flat, but it grew up on me Huge global map, classic story mode, interesting additions: camera-shooting, video-editing, slo-mo-trickin' riggin' right on the spot. The last true tony hawk's game. The only downside: pro-vids are not "that" great and there's no way to sort playing music tracks by genre. That's my 3rd playthrough if ps2 and DS experience counts. Huge TH's fan.
Summary: The story is forgettable and the lack of create a park or a decent skater remains. The game forces you to choose between 3 abilities in the form of being able to place items down to make new lines, something with climbing I think, and something else. The rest of the game was a jumbled mess that I enjoyed only slightly more then Project 8, but on these Proving Grounds Activision only proved that they don't know what they are doing.
Summary: I have this and Underground 2 both great games but I think this is better because I like how you don't have to change levels you just ride from place to place and there is more things to create your skater with and also the graphics are much better.
Summary: Wow!I have played EVERY tony hawk game from the ps1 to the dreamcast ,xbox and now 360 and I have to tell you that there has never been a skateboarding game this amazing and flawless like this game!Skate what, give me a break, that game is full of BORING and they will never have a game that beats this game.Sorry EA but this game tops all of your attempts and I'm writing this review now 4-11 and skate 3 is out and I still go back to this game to compare, and it doesn't win...
Summary: Great graphics. Love the ability to make your own trick. I don't like that you can not change the sex of the skaterwhen creating your character, as you could in previous games. Seems kind of silly to take that out. Good game though.
Summary: this is a much better hawk game so much more interaction. the controls were more of a challenge adding to the intensityof the game. the create your own highlight video is really funand looks cool this is the best hawk game so far.
Summary: Fun game so far, some cool trick features... still not entirely realistic when it comes to the skaters abilities... he apparently can ollie 6 feet high. Pros: Different career paths you can take. Customizable skater You can get off your board and actually run around and explore Cons: A bit too surreal glitchy graphics crappy music selection
