R6 V2 - meh, nothing new
9 May 2008
Summary: Pros: Excellent Graphics, Improved AI, Solid Concluding story line which continues from the first. Multi-player options galour. Cons: Little orchestrated game content (whatever happened to the 60hr game for $50) $60 is a bit much for a 5 hour game.
Summary: This game is very fun in the beginning but get boring after a while. It has the same graphics as the previous on and it wasn't as fun as i thought it would be. But none the less it was funner than the last one.
Summary: Fun enough in SP but who buys a Clancy tactical shooter to play alone? The box is clearly marked "Multiplayer co-op 2-10", but when you get all 4 of your gang together and load up the game, you learn that it only supports TWO players in co-op story mode. How lame is that.
Summary: This game is good in some ways, but lacking in many others. First off, the look is horrible, the makers of it need to take a long look at COD4 and take note of how great the visuals are. This games graphics are just not up to par with what should be expected. Second the multiplayer is weak!
As unique as a Rainbow itself, genius gameplay from Tom Clancy

Excerpt: Note: This review was originally posted on Dooyoo by me under the same account and same name, the review is all mine The first thing that can be said about this game is that it is totally unique. Although it can be compared to other shooters in it's category, it is not like them in my mind.
Pros: Good realistic gameplay with tactics and teamplay involved
Excerpt: As a fond favourite of Tom Clancy i believe Vegas 2 to be rather good. You can customise your own personal character, make it your own and go out and show the online commuity your design skills. The Campain is good, the plot is very good, well structured and thought out.
3/5 stars. Not as good as some other Tom Clancy games.

Excerpt: When I recently read up on Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, I thought "This game is for me!". I have always been a fan of the Tom Clancy games, in particular Splinter Cell, due to the stealthy game play (which makes a nice change from most shooters these days).
Excerpt: I have mixed feelings about Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I really enjoyed the first title but this one feels a bit dated. The graphics have a murky look to them. Nothing looks sharp and crisp, it has a very dull look to it. Playing this on a HDTV I expected more.
Excerpt: When we heard there was going to be a another Rainbow Six game we instantly lead to believe that it would contain the same level of action packed, squad-based fun that'd we'd come to expect from a Tom Clancy's branded Ubisoft game.
Pros: Good Story, Great Squad Based Concept, Good Selection of Versus Modes/Maps
