  • Summary: A bit better from the first game, online is playable now. But basically the same, tactical shooter which doesn't bring anything new or interesting. Only buy if fan of tactical shooters, and still this isn't the best of them.

BORING.

Anonymous, Newegg
31 July 2008
  • Summary: They should have just sold this as an add-on to the original vegas because of other better games out eg. Call Of Duty 4
  • Pros: Free add-ons/upgrades in attempts to give you a better playing experence.
  • Cons: There are no real improvement to single player as well as multiplayer for this to be vegas 2 becides a few new game modes, maps and sprint

  • Summary: The single player is really good, but once you've completed it, the multiplayer just doesn't work! I got a good few eveenings out of this, but sold it after a week, as without multiplayer, it's just boring! Ubisoft need to sort it out and i can't be bothered to wait

It's a mediocre game. I would rate it 2.5 out of 5 but you can't.

  • Excerpt: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was a little disappointing for me. I enjoyed the first one, both online and offline, but the problem with this sequel is that it is too similar. The graphics have barely been improved, the missions are the same but with less casinos, which was the best part of the...

Best selling title? why?

R. Orange, Amazon

  • Summary: Starting off on the single player aspect of this game, i was reasonably impressed... the gameplay was fun, made even better by the awesome ability to customize to extreme levels. Being able to choose between armour effects your mobility and toughness, each important aspects for how you like to play.

Wouldn't buy as it is nothing compared to RSV1

  • Excerpt: After playing the original game Rainbow Six Vegas, i thought this game must be worth buying as the first one was fantastic. There was much hype leading up this game and it appeared to look as good as it's previous title. I bought it but i became dissapointed quickly.

Oh so very very dull

easytiger, Amazon
2 June 2008
  • Summary: A lot of games are being based on the unreal engine these days, which means that a lot of games have very similar gameplay. V2 has a very slick firing from cover system that is very good, but I found it hard to play for any length of time because it was just so dull.

don't buy this... yet... or may be at all!

  • Summary: hey people, i am so dissapointed in this game! do not buy it yet as the online ( what you want most from this game ) does not work, it only lets you in to a game 1 out of about 100 trys and then it will kick you or crash your ps3 or just return you to the xmb!

Call of Duty 4 is the best war game, hands down.

Mr. S. Howe, Amazon
30 April 2008
  • Summary: I bought this as I grew tired of playing COD4 and I gotta say the 9/10 reviews it bragged about on it's commercials seem a little unjustified to me. Call of Duty 4 has so much more depth, realism and overall more fun than this game. The online play there is the best of any war game ever, period.
