Summary: It's certainly no Ace Combat, but in its own way its pretty good. The level up system is what keeps you playing kind of (to unlock better weapon packs for your aircraft). The story is ehhh, but the gameplay is good all around I'd say.
Summary: I have not played this game a whole lot yet. The controls defintely take some getting used to. It is not quite arcade flight but not a flight simulator either. It seems fun but at least for me as a steeper learning curve.
Summary: there are meany positives to this game like the number of aircraft, munitions and types of missions, but besides that this game doesnt feel that great. all of the aircraft feel the same and you really dont get the sense of going mach 2. also you can not go any slower that about 900 mph which makes bombing runs harder and makes for longer missions. this is the best flying game for the ps3 so far but id rather wait for ace combat.
Summary: The graphics were pretty intense but the gameplay felt sort of short and didn't have much of a storyline to it. The difficult settings of the game didn't make it much of a challenge and the online gameplay would be a lot better if people actually played it! I personally enjoyed the game but there are much better airplane fighting games out there and this game could've done a lot better.
Summary: As many other reviewers of this game, I'm a long-time fan of the AC titles and was also disappointed when they decided to drop Sony. Very few flight games have found their way onto the PS3 and I think that this game missed a golden opportunity to really shine. As I mentioned in the title, this game is good, but not great. It may have gotten a few extra bonus points for being the first modern jet game for the PS3, but you'll have to judge for yourself.
