Summary: From above, the graphics are very impressive, but HAWX always feels like it has something missing when you're playing it. It has an immediate wow factor but eventually becomes stale and repetitive.
Summary: This is the best arcade modern air combat game you can have right now on the PS3 until Ace Combat: Infinity, a F2P game, comes out. The flight mechanics are decent, and different planes handle differently. But the overall production value could be improved (why isn't the AWACS antenna spinning in-game?). The content is quite hefty too.
Summary: It's certainly no Ace Combat, but in its own way its pretty good. The level up system is what keeps you playing kind of (to unlock better weapon packs for your aircraft). The story is ehhh, but the gameplay is good all around I'd say.
Summary: I am glad this game came out and I get to blow off the dust of my joystick controller again. This is a cool blend of FPS and combat aviation. Sure it is not flight simulator specific, and the load outs and missions are a bit exaggerated... What fps type game doesn't embellish a little. The bottom line it is fun graphics are great and the story and game play are fun.
