Time Crisis: Razing Storm

Strategy Informer
6 October 2011
  • Conclusion: Time Crisis: Razing Storm is a gaming packaging that brings together both ends of the quality spectrum. Two out of the three games are worth your time and money, and if you can fully ignore the third then you're laughing. If you already own a copy of Time Crisis 4 then don't bother with this - otherwise, this may well be the multiplayer shooter you've been looking for.

Time Crisis: Razing Storm

Playstation Illustrated
1 January 2011
  • Excerpt: Time Crisis: Razing Storm is an odd release for the Time Crisis line. Not only does it offer a few new modes that stray away from the license's core mechanic, but it also throws in a couple of extra games, one of which has already been fully released on the PS3, albeit, not with PlayStation Move support, like the Time Crisis 4 found on Razing Storm 's disc. Razing Storm itself has a few different modes, and in pretty much all cases, they are eye-catching.

Time Crisis Razing Storm

impulsegamer
1 December 2010
  • Excerpt: Going back to the glory days of light guns, Time Crisis Razing Storm merges this traditional shooting genre with the latest PlayStation Move technology that creates an interesting hybrid that works on some levels and misses on others. The biggest problem with just about all the light gun games on the PlayStation 2 and 3 were the finishing times.

Time Crisis Compilation Is A Mixed Bag

Game Informer
5 November 2010
  • Conclusion: Concept: Utilize PlayStation Move to deliver old and new experiences in the Time Crisis franchise Graphics: On par with Time Crisis 4’s arcade release, which nowadays isn’t saying much Sound: Even for the genre, the voice acting is absurdly bad Playability: The aiming is spot-on in Time Crisis 4 and Deadstorm Pirates, but Razing Storm’s control scheme is a mess Entertainment: This compilation offers plenty of content, most of which is enjoyable Replay: Moderate

Shoot first, ask questions never

GamesRadar
25 October 2010
  • Conclusion: As an attempt to transform the series into a motion-controlled first-person shooter this is a misfire. But as a gung ho party package it’s bang on target. If you'd like to see more articles from GamesMaster, you can get a subscription here .
  • Pros: Introduces free roaming like a real FPS, Incredibly addictive on-rails shooting, Motion-controlled pirate ships
  • Cons: Free roaming controls kind of suck, Typical on-rail flaw of overly scripted action, Unlimited continues removes challenge

Time Crisis: Razing Storm Review

GamingTrend
9 May 2011
  • Excerpt: I have loved light gun games for a long time now. As a child I pumped a lot of quarters into games like Operation Wolf, Operation X, and Terminator 2. Recreating a home version of these games has always required a bunch of extra peripherals, because of the extra investment required to properly play an arcade shooter at home the genre has never really become a mainstay on the home console.
