EA all you need to know

Chuck, Amazon
4 April 2014
  • Summary: Solid base game. Everything you would expect by now from Tiger Woods. Once again however EA expects you to pay through the nose for any extras.

Frustrating & Incomplete as packaged

Samara McDonald, Amazon
24 June 2013
  • Summary: The BAD: EA Sports is heading the wrong direction (and has been for awhile). For $69.99, I should receive a full version of the game - no need to purchase additional courses to complete a PGA Tour season. Instead, I have to shell out an additonal $25 to get the missing courses so I can play a season without having to skip tournaments or move them to different venues.

Prepare for the EA up sale DLC attempts with PSN not working in the game.

Adamran, Amazon
16 June 2013
  • Summary: The game itself is okay. Not great, but okay. Visuals and controls are great. Courses are beautiful and challenging. EA finds ways to ruin the joy at any opportunity provided. You can't play the whole tour, some courses are DLC only with ridiculously high prices. The career mode freezes repeatedly and EA is relentless in trying to get you to spend more money on $60 game it refuses to provide the value you would expect to receive in the first place.

Buggy

Timbo, Amazon
11 June 2013
  • Summary: Its a shame that EA has published such a buggy game. I've been playing Golf Simulations since Links, and others on the PC and this is the first really buggy PS3 game I've had. I hope EA gets their act together and fixes the bugs soon. I think the last really good version was TGWPGA12, so spend your money on that one. When the game works its OK, but not worth the upgrade if you've got prior working versions. I hope I can get to play the senior golfers at some point.

TW14 is a full blown simulator now.

SevenBizzos, Amazon
8 June 2013
  • Summary: I'm giving TW14: Masters Historic Edition only three stars. Video games are supposed to be fun. This one is not. I've was an annual EA Golf/TW purchaser since PGA Tour on the Genesis. I've seen a huge number of versions, some good, some bad. TW'11 began the downfall. I took a two versions off, and from reading the reviews, that was a good thing. Now, the series has completely transformed into a simulator. The overall setup of navigating through the game is easy.

Okay.

Adam Kyrouac, Amazon
30 April 2013
  • Summary: I love the game itself, my only complaint is that there are sound issues. The sound cuts in and out quite frequently. If you have an xbox and playstation both I'd definitely buy the game on xbox.

Same old EA Sports

Paladin, Amazon
22 April 2013
  • Summary: Product is good but is slow loading and be prepared to spend much more money after market. Still have many cheaters playing. They still allow chipping on the greens except for Augusta National. I slipped 13 and got this. This will probably be my last unless they stop the greed after market.
