Summary: Well, if you are like me, the 99%er, you will never play at this course, but thanks to EA now you can. This game is great, the greens are just so realistic you see missing easy 2 foot putts just like the pros at the 13th hole in Augusta. I haven't purchased another Tiger Woods game since then, and no wonder EA finally stopped and discontinued their association with Woods (Dec '13).
Summary: So, as the top review stated, "If you've never played a Tiger Woods game before, you'll enjoy the gameplay controls". Well this is my first Tiger Woods game, and I extremely enjoy it. Very realistic in terms of progression and career, I love unlocking in-game stuff and earning Trophies and this game has both. My problems with the game: I'm a noob at Tiger Woods games, so I need the caddy to help me a lot. Sometimes, he just chooses NOT TO HELP!
Summary: I got the PS3 motion for Christmas and wanted to get a game to try it out with. It's a lot of fun. The only thing I have not figured out yet is how to stay "within range" when going on my back swing. The camera always says I am out of range no matter how far back I am or where I setup the camera. But otherwise, the game is great. Make sure to purchase it new though as if you don't have an online code, you will need to purchase one (for $10) if you want to play online.
Summary: I love the fact that you can play some/most of the holes at Augusta right away the first time you play the game via the "Masters Moments" challenges. This was hours of entertainment and the course played really true to how I would have expected the course to play. The only negative about the game is the inconsistency in difficulty. There are some holes where the game seems to be determined to give you a bogey or double bogey once on the green. For the most part...
Summary: OK, my first venture into tiger woods games was 2010 when I bought it for the Wii. The challenges were driving me nuts, but it was tolerable. Well, I finally went out and purchased a PS3 - yes it took me this long to do it. I went out and bought the TW 2012 with the motion controller and a real good price this black friday. I just started it up and the motion controller is definitely not user friendly.
Summary: I'm writing this review for the seasoned player, not the newcomer. If you're a new comer, I think you will be satisified going in to the experience knowing the game is 50% arcade 50% simulation. If you're a getting bored veteran, I think this is the best TW yet for you! If you've been playing the TW series for more than 5 years, you know what your getting: graphics tweaks, a new course, better online support, the gimmick of the year. And that's fine.
Summary: Bought this when it was $50 as a gold box deal and definitely worth the price. Took me a few times to figure out the controls, but now that I have it down, I just have to figure out a way to improve my putting.
Summary: As a person that has played this game since 2004 I am I thrilled with the new game. The graphics are pretty good and the fact you can now play at the holy grail of courses, Augusta makes this game great right off the bat. However, EA you did some bad things again. First off, you put a caddie in there that is 1- annoying, 2- slows the game down and 3- is wrong alot of the time even with the gold metal course level.
