OK game but online code didn't work.
Paula L Hart, Amazon
9 April 2013
Summary: We bought this version of the game so we could play against our son in another state. The game arrive in new condition with the packaging never having been opened. The game is fine, but the online code was used and wouldn't work preventing us from competing online. We probably won't be using this game now and it was a waste of money. Be careful when buying older versions as others could have hacked the online code.
PS3 Version: Numerous Glitches Will Make you Toss it out of a Window!

Summary: NOTE: This Review is for the PS3 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters When I play video games, I’m looking for a way to unwind – not explode! EA has really started to drop the ball with newer games. As a result, I tend to only buy previous versions of games. That’s when I found Tiger Woods 12. Now I almost wish I hadn’t found it! Okay, I will start off by stating that I am happy with the gameplay. It can be difficult at times, but I really don’t mind that.
Summary: I bought this game thinking that because of all the good reviews it got on and off of amazon. This game is frustrating beyond belief and I must agree with a one star reviewer who complained about the physics. Each time you hit the golf ball the results are so variable that it seems that the game is out to get you. You could have the exact same set-up multiple times and hit the ball the same time and it not even land close to where it did the time before.
Summary: I am long time fan of the Tiger Woods series of golf games by Electronic Arts and purchased this title for delivery on the released date. I was not all I expected it to be. Yes, the Masters course at Augusta National is amazing and a cool addition to the game. This edition is also much more challenging in some ways than previous versions with a great career mode that starts you as a novice then let's you build your career to #1 in the EA World Rankings.
Summary: Tiger Woods 2012 is a disappointing manifestation of complacent, "good-enough" programming by a team of talented and brilliant, but uninterested programmers, unwilling to work up a sweat for the money they receive. Many of the positive reviews of this game here on Amazon were clearly posted by company shills, while some of the negative reviews, as others have noted, have mysteriously been deleted without explanation. We'll see how long this review lasts.
Summary: Sigh. I had high hopes for this. I've played TW since 01 skipping a year or so in between. Augusta was the reason I made the purchase. It's not all horrific, but when EA introduces a new feature into TW they typically mess it up. 2012 is no different, this year it's the new caddie feature. I wouldn't mind using it from time to time, but why can't I just turn him off? Where is that option? Why is this a forced feature?
Summary: I own a couple of older TW games and enjoyed each one so this was a no brainer purchase for me. The CE edition came with the Birdie pack, which is $15 on PSN if you get the std version, and all that's left in courses is Eagle Pack, which is a womping $35. The gameplay is fun but the controls can be oversensitive at times and become very frustrating. The putting is terrible. No matter how soft or hard I hit the ball it always misses by 2 feet.
Summary: This game is annoying as hell. Between the aiming interface, the annoying caddie, and the EA ads between EVERY shot. Yes, between EVERY shot! (EA, please send us an update and give us the nice fade to black we were used to in 2011) I give it 2 stars because of Augusta National but I'll be playing my 2011 version most of the time.
Summary: Okay, so I have come to write a review on TW 2012. I was going to purchase 2013 but looking at the reviews and the fact you need to purchase stuff I have come to the conclusion that EA are just spewing out re hashed crap which you need to spend a fortune on to get all the unlocked goodies! My son has Fifa 2012 and has wasted 100 quid or more on buying these stupid packs. Anyway back to the review. TW12 is just boring.
