PS3/X360 Review - 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters'
2 April 2011
Summary: Start your journey down the "Road to the Masters" with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters. For the first time in franchise history, players will be able to step on to the hallowed grounds of Augusta National to experience the rich history and tradition of the Masters Tournament.
Conclusion: The PS3 edition of the game also includes Move support for the first time out of the box. It works quite well for the most part, but while the general swing motions are lifelike and require you to mimic real golf swings by coming through the ball flat and smoothly, they're also sort of automatic. Unless you get totally tied up in knots and hit with the club face wide open or seriously closed, you can hit the straight and narrow most of the time.
Pros: Addition of the Masters gives more focus to career play, Caddie feature is a useful nod to how the real PGA Tour functions, Good range of courses.
Cons: Not many changes to the core feature set, Move controller accuracy is questionable at times.
