Summary: I had an old Golf game for PS2, which I played to completion and loved it. As this game is available very cheap in the marketplace I decided I'd revisit Golf after a few years of either not playing, or playing other types of games. The obvious improvement over the older game is the graphics, which on my relatively new TV are very impressive. Having the ability to create and model your own golfer is a nice facility.
Summary: Can't give this one 5 stars, simply because a lot of the game is unrealistic. For instance, TW hits a ball over a large group of trees and sinks it for par for a total of three shots. You the player, are expected to match those three shots exactly. Now personally if I could hit a ball around 350 yards, land it on the green and then get down in three, I would be on the PGA tour. There are countless instances like this throughout the game.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (PS3): Tiger Woods just gets better
3 October 2011
Summary: I've always been a fan of the Tiger Woods games. It helps that I like to play golf in real life as well but you really don't have to be a golf fan to enjoy this game. I bought it from Grainger Games which is a local games store in the north east of England. I paid only £12 for this game because it was second hand and about 8 months after the original release date.
Pros: new controls, new courses and matchplay /tournaments
Cons: hard at the start but gets too easy at the end and it is limited
Summary: Tiger Woods 2010 improves on 2009 in two main ways, the first is the new putting system the second being the inclusion of Trophies for this game. The new putting system makes putting easier than in previous games, rather than having to judge how far you need to swing back for power there is a bar with a line showing where you need to get it to. However this does not take into account the lie of the green or if it is wet so you will need to adjust for that.
Summary: Electronic arts have developed yet another great simulation game based on the golf player tiger woods. Now the game features the us open and also USAG championships. Now I love this game for playing online a few changes in this game from the previous you be asked if you want to post your score after tournaments. The other good thing is you can post your scores up against the original PGA leaderboards to make it more realistic.
Summary: Different to the other Tigers I've played, still struggling to hit the ball straight but a good laugh playing drinking tiger: 1 finger in the rough, 2 fingers for sand or water, 3 for out of bounds. Finger for each player who loses the hole.
