Summary: Good game thus far, just need to invest more time, and learn how to properly play, not much unlike My real game, but at least here, with these incredible graphics, and wonderful courses I'll finaly qualify for The Masters.
Summary: Just like all the sports titles by EA, when you come out with a new game every year, it's hard to keep coming up with new features to make the game different. I always wait to buy the EA games 1 year after they're released cuz why pay $60 for '10 when you can get '09 for $15-$20 used? Just my opinion. This is my first PS3 version, I've played the PS2 version in years past so this is a nice upgrade strictly based on the graphics.
Summary: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 is a great golf simulation game. The character that I created of myself looks so much like me that people laugh out loud when they see it. The courses and players are really good and the graphics are amazing on the PS3 (as is usually the case). This '09 version is not the latest version but has most of the important features. I didn't want to spend $50-60 for the latest version because I wasn't sure I would like it.
Summary: Great Gamernet feature allows you to challenge shots, holes, or entire rounds that you friends or random gamer has posted and rewards you with points depending on how difficult the challenge was, also has great dependable playability as most of the series do.
Summary: I own both a PS3 and an XBOX 360 so was trying to decide which version of this game to get. I downloaded both demos and compared them side by side on graphics and gameplay and found that the PS3 version was limited to 720p while the XBOX 360 version was running at 1080i - I suspected that it was just because the PS3 demo was set to play at 720p only.
Not what youd expect for '09 but a good title nonthless

Summary: Tiger Woods '09 brings a much improved feeling to the golfing experience as the swinging has improved. Also, you are told exactly how you swing so that you may compensate for your natural swing (I tend to hook the ball myself). The graphics are great as usual (although the background scenery is not stellar). The level designs are impressive and challenging and the game's music score is excellent and makes the game experience fun.
Summary: I liked the graphics of the game. Some of the Tiger Challenges were a big pain and it took several attemps at them, but eventually figured out a way to pass them. Couple of things they could have done, pair you up with someone while you play a tournament and allow you to turn on "mulligan" in season mode.
Summary: I bought this game as a heavily discounted item. It is my first experience of Tiger Woods golf and, as a 7 handicaper in real life, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The courses are extremely accurate and the experience feels very real. Having not played previous versions of the game I comment on whether this version brings much new to the Tiger Woods experience but as a standalone game I think its great.
