Summary: I'm less than impressed. The old PC version of Thief is much better, if that says anything. The graphics are good (not great), but the main problem here is a lack of depth. You get to prowl around a city breaking into houses, but the neighborhoods are a bit like mazes, with too many places you can't get too, too many inoperative doors, windows, etc. It lacks realism. The NPC characters are boring, with repetitive speech patterns.
Summary: When i saw the thief reboot for the first time i got excited to see what new things the developer behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution would do to it, however, when the game launched and played for the first time, i didn't felt anything new or good about it. I would recommend to skip this game and wait for other good games like watch dogs.
Summary: This game is definitely worth playing, if you have the free time. Only don't expect a stellar game. Overall, the game is fun to play. The developers obviously put a lot of thought into giving you the experience of being a thief. However, some aspects of the game are clunky when playing, the story-line seems cheap and thin somehow, and the non-player characters say the same things very loudly over and over again.
Summary: The following is copied from comments I made to a previous review- Its worth noting that some developers of the older installments in the Thief series subsequently ended up working on Dishonored, and that could have something to do with the fact that they look quite similar. I don't think it was copied, any more that the new Thief game copies Dishonored. I think its best to say they have common roots and influences.
Summary: This is a descent game. I got 3 days of play value out of it. The stealth missions are good puzzles, however the game often gets away from being about being a thief. One of the levels is almost entirely about being a paranormal investigator. This makes a good rental or low price buy. Pros: 1. Good graphics. 2. Good game mechanics. 3. Lots of ways to beat the scenarios, providing players with good replay value and style playing options. Cons: 1.
Amazon did a great job with shipping, but the game wasnt very impressive

Summary: Just kind of a blah type of game. Yes it has a lot of interesting gameplay and I would rate it a 7/10 for the stealth aspect of it, but as far as the story....well let's just say as common as they get. One of the biggest problems was being promised an 'open world' but running into loading screens in order to get to other parts of the City. I guess that's the chance you take when pre ordering.
Summary: So Visually and audio are good but few things that bother me. The main map is south to north and the mini map is North to south. There are no markers indicating zone switches. All the vagabonds and merchants are identical. It seems they used only a few character models. Other than that I had few complaints.
Summary: Thief is the latest iteration of the first person action/sneak series. This version is mostly in first person with a few climbing scenes presented in third person perspective. It takes advantage of the latest in graphic, but not the latest modeling techniques. It also struggles in the department that was the staple of this series: sound effects and voice acting.
