Good trilogy with some glitches and freezing issues

Javier Rodriguez, Amazon
16 August 2013
  • Summary: Out of the three tomb raider games included i think the best was anniversary since it had the most puzzles and best story,it took me awhile to get used to the controls and the camera angles would sometimes go crazy and not aim correctly, and a few times where the controls wouldn't even register for some reason until i pressed the buttons a few times.

Lost in the space between a 3 and a 4

Shane Windham "Shane Windham, author", Amazon
30 September 2011
  • Summary: I should begin by admitting that I really loved these games when they were first released. Playing through them again has really brought home the fact that gamers are quite spoiled these days. We expect amazing everything. And most of us grow weary when games don't deliver. In their time, these games were the best of the best; they offered unique gaming experiences and were responsible for a great deal of what is common in today's platformers.

An Incredible Value But the Series is Showing its Age

R. Garrelts, Amazon
15 June 2011
  • Summary: Ah, so I've finally wrapped up playing the Tomb Raider Trilogy on the PlayStation 3 and I feel a proper review is in order. I specifically set out to experience as much of TR: Trilogy before writing a review and I'm happy to say that I've finished all three games to 100% including acquiring the platinum trophy in each. I've been playing Tomb Raider since the days of the PS1 back in the mid-to-late 1990's.

Buy it for Anniversary, Legend and Underworld are a mere bonus.

C. H. Mauricio, Amazon
18 May 2011
  • Summary: While we wait for the next official installment of Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics has compiled its first three Tomb Raider games in one convenient package. The result is a compilation that is 1/3 amazing, 1/3 good, and 1/3 mediocre. Legend is the oldest of the three and it really shows its age on the PS3 version. The upscaling on the PS3 looks really weird thus making it the ugliest of the three.

Ideal for the tomb raider enthusiast!

Ken, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I found this game pack good value for money. Expect hours of tomb raiding fun. The three games are all different in their own way so there should be something for everyone.

"Bringing Back the Old Tomb Raiders"

James, Mighty Ape
1 June 2011
  • Summary: This one disc has three different Tomb Raider games. You don't just run around shooting people, in these games you have to figure out how to open trap doors and other things to progress throughout the levels. I did get bored of this game and I haven't completed it as I haven't played for a while.

"As good as they were..."

Ryan, Mighty Ape
1 June 2011
  • Summary: I loved the Tomb Raider series… I grew up with it. After Assassins Creed was finished, not many games could fill the void, so i thought “Why not go old school and play TR.” Anniversary is nice. Same as the original first TR but...... its just a bit different. Almost not in a good way. Dont get me wrong… for a first time player it would bridge the 10 year gap since the first release, but in my mind it's changed. Legend is the same .
